This is a fantastic product. Made by people who truly care about your dog's health and they back it up with high quality customer service!I have two dogs. One is currently 3.5 years old, the other 13.5. The older one is sensitive to grains, especially wheat and corn. I have struggled to find her a high quality grain-free food. This was especially true in her early years when there weren't as many choices of dog food as there are now. I tried a lot of foods, but I was never really satisfied. Sometimes the other foods made her lethargic. Other times, the foods would bother her sensitive digestive system or make her itchy. Then came Sojo's.This food is unbelievable. In its dehydrated form, it is as light as a feather. Hydrate with hot water, let it soak for 15 minutes or more and you've got a base of wonderfully smelling fruits and veggies! Both my dogs love it! I mix it with just a bit of meat and voila! I make big batches twice per week and store them in the refrigerator. The dogs look great. Even my old girl displays plenty of energy. Her system seems to thrive on it as she is 'regular', if you know what I mean.An additional benefit is that she has very gradually lost a few pounds. This is excellent because she was slightly overweight and aging while overweight often means an early demise in dogs. Now before you think that Sojo's is a weight loss food, please note that my younger dog, Whimsy, has maintained a perfect weight while on Sojo's.This is a wonderful food to feed you best friend. It comes in a variety of flavors. If you have any questions about the food, you can contact Sojo's directly and, as I can attest, they either answer the phone or call you back! They want to assure that you are completely satisfied and totally informed. If you are looking for a high quality food that your dogs will love, look no further. Try it and you won't be disappointed. BTW, because it is dehydrated, Sojo's is an easy food to use when you and your dogs are traveling! And because it is made in the U.S. in a human grade processing plant, you have no worries about cross contamination!I'd give this dog food 10 stars if I could.

Our doxie has such severe allergies to all kinds of food. Plus with the food the vet was giving her she started having anal gland problems. And I do mean problems. The worse the anal gland problem got the more fiber food the vet recommended. They would of course recommend the dog food they sold. It got to the point we wold have to have the anal glands dealt with TWICE a day !!!! Wow this was dangerous for her, horrible for us (smell) and expensive $26 each time and the vet would not give us a break. Anyway, after checking the internet I found "perhaps the anal gland problems was caused by grains or such". The vet said that is not possible for food to affect the anal glands HUH?? Anyway, I found Sojos on the advise of someone and added venison (we hunt). Within 2 weeks the anal gland problem STOPPED all together !!! I make up about 2 weeks worth together in a "baggie" (set each one upright) and let them set overnight. Then I add the ground cooked venison the next day. Flatten them out and freeze them for the future. Let me stress it is important to let it soak overnight. Some will say only a few hours and that is possible I suppose but I think it is better to soak longer. You don't want any kind of increase in volume which I guess might be able to occur, in your dogs tummy So make sure the Sojos has expanded fully just like any other dried food. We took her off after several great years. I decided it took too much effort to make it. Stupid me. Gave grain free dog food that had a nigher fat content I guess and she wold up getting pancreatitis. Can't even begin to tell you the expensive and difficulty dealing with that!!! So we are now back on Sojos, doing great!!!ADDITION: I reviewed this quite a while ago. I thought I would change because I kinda got tired of "making up" the Sojos. Anyway we switched to a dog food that was for dogs with allergies, imported venison from New zealand and was about $90 for 24 cans. Anyway, we slowly switched her over and did well for awhile, But then the pancreatitis came back. We were making her a homemade food with rice and such for awhile. But she was gaining weight even though only getting about 8 oz. of this a day (per the vet). We decided to go back to Sojos or go back to a similar product I found elsewhere. So we opted for the "other" dehydrated food. As I was slowly switching her over (and I mean slowly) she got very sick. When she tried to go to the bathroom she screamed in pain. I was beside myself. It was so horrible to hear her. We were camping at the time and rushed home to our vet. Our vet determined she had "gas" from this other food. It had more spinach and some things that apparently caused it in our Roxie. Anyway, bottom line is we have been slowly transitioning her back to Sojos (we supply the ground cooked venison) and she has done wonderfully. Her poopys are back looking normal (she had gone through diarrhea and such) and she is doing well. Her coat had become dull over the past few months and is now getting shiny again !!To respond to some of the negative reviews on Sojos No Grain. We used it for over a period of 3 years before all this occurred. We had noticed a difference and that is when the made a change and it was more powder inside the bag. That seems to have diminished a lot. We have never noticed any red strings or plastic. We have never noticed "wood". But keep in mind that dehydrated foods, including bits of fruits and vegetables can look a bit odd. We have done some of our dehydration of fruits and vegetables for ourselves and these things don't look like "fresh" fruits and vegetables. They are dehydrated !!Next, no matter how good you think a dog food is please please please do a slow transition. If you can't take the time to do this then don't change the food. The dog is the one who will suffer. Please resist doing a fast change over. And take even longer and slower if you have had a dog that has any kind of problems such as pancreatitist or any intestinal or stomach problems. Also, some, like us, are not comfortable with adding "raw" meat to her food. Perhaps with a healthy dog that has no problems that might be ok but I would check with your vet before you do. We use ground cooked venison because our girl is allergic to turkey and chicken and the beef it too high in fat.We have really concluded that we made a very foolish decision to change from Sojos No Grain because it was "convenient for me" to change. Our beloved Roxie suffered for it. Because a dog with pancreatitis history can always get it again, regardless of how low fat a food is, it is still best to remain on a lower fat whether it is store bought or homemade. But at this point we are still pleased with Sojos and we feel her good bowels, no diarrhea, no vomiting, etc. it is the second time it has saved her life.
