This is a good product, and the flexibility is just right. My dog was wearing a hard plastic cone with velcro & he demolished it, just running into things & scraping it on various stuff (like furniture & doors), This one is flexible enough to give a little, but stiff enough to keep him from licking his leg. I think the soft collar around the neck is also more comfortable. The velcro is very strong.

We got this because our dog had bad allergies and started chewing his paws, so we had to put some medicated ointment on them. In just one night in his crate, it got severely bent and tore in some places and at the seems. We've duck taped it and it's working enough for now. The collar does seem comfortable and I like that you can sinch it up a bit more.

I have been searching for a great soft cone and this is it. My 60# dog tore his dew claw and has been licking it. My vet said he needed a cone and I have ordered several. I have been using the one from the vet which is plastic. This one has a very soft neck collar and the inside is padded and very nice. Best is that it fits great and it long enough from neck to snout. I highly recommend this choice.

My dog ripped this to shreds. It’s not made strong enough for aggressive chewing dogs.

My dog and I both definitely preferred this cone over the rigid, opaque, hard plastic variety he was sent home from the vet wearing after his neuter surgery. I like the soft mesh around the base, the adjustability, how well it stays on, and the ease of putting it on. But it is flawed. I bought a size down from what the size chart recommended, and I’m glad I did. There’s no chance of my dog being able to eat or drink while wearing this cone. I can’t imagine if it were even longer — it would be much more cumbersome. My biggest complaint is how loud the Velcro is when removing the cone. My dog wants the cone off, but dreads the noise. I basically have to chase him down and corner him. I can’t blame him. It is horribly loud and unpleasant; I can only imagine how much worse it is being right next to his ear canal.

This cone is well made and seems to be comfortable for my dog. He wasn't able to get the cone off like he did several of the ones we tried before. The adjustable elastic cords around the neck allow a perfect fit but not so tight that it chokes him. I like how the cone overlaps so there isn't a gap that the dog can stick his snout through. The cone is sturdy but soft enough he can still rest in comfort. Unfortunately, my dog has extra long snout and legs so he was still able to put his leg directly in front of the cone and lick his injury. But that's not because of any flaw in the collar. For any normal dog this would be a great solution.

This conical Elizabethan collar is really a magical tool for pet care! The material is soft and comfortable and won't irritate my baby's skin. Its design is quite ingenious.
