This is more of a silicone brush than a “steam” brush. It sprays a mist, as there is no heating element to it. I don’t feel like the brush works that well alone or with mist for that matter. My cats didn’t seem to mind it without the mist feature on, it just didn’t get their shedding hair off like I thought it would. As far as cleaning, It actually is somewhat hard to get the hair off the silicone. All in all, I would not recommend.

I had seen this in some infomercials and was anxious to try it. I am happy. I ordered it because I have a very large cat who cannot groom himself because he weighs 26 pounds. This may have save both of our sanities. I found that I could plug it up and charge it and then add water. We have now gotten into a routine where I can brush him in the evenings and I could not believe at first how much hair was coming off of him. The bristles are soft enough that he actually enjoys the brushing and does not fight me like he did with other brushes. I have been able to use the brush for about 3 to 4 uses before needing to recharge which I think is a great battery life. It’s easy to wash off and I’ve had no issues refilling it with distilled water. I’m very pleased with this and the amount of hair that it pulls off my cat more importantly I’m happy that it does not allow for dandruff to form. This is a great tool for any pet lover in your life.

My dogs love it when I brush their fur. But they don't like it when I put something on them. I used it and it works fine. My digs stay confident while I use it and it helps me to remove loose hair easy. It is very easy to use, i just fill it with water, turn it on and start brushing. Size us not bigger than a normal brush and it gives a soft massage to the skin.

My cat loves this brush! He’s got a whole collection of different brushes, but this one has quickly become one of his favorites. The soft silicone bristles make grooming super easy, and I can brush him often without worrying about too much shedding. The water spray feature helps to keep the fur on the brush instead of floating all over the place. My cat isn’t a fan of the water, though, so I just turn it off when brushing near his face, and he doesn’t seem to notice. It also comes with a charger, has a sleek design, and feels really comfortable to hold. I personally prefer rounded brushes over ones with handles since they give me better control over the pressure and just feel nicer to use.

Pros:Pretty easy to cleanEasy to open water inletLarge sizeCons:NoneCompared to most steam brushes, this one from Goocare is quite large, making the process of brushing an entire pet go a bit faster. Also unlike many other steam brushes I found this one a bit easier to clean thanks to the larger gaps between the silicone bristles. The large & easy-to-open water inlet makes adding water to the interior reservoir a simple task.

I love this thing so much! This is great for shedding season around the house. The mist adds just enough water to my cats' fur that it doesn't go flying off everywhere while we're trying to give a good brushing. Highly recommend.

I tried it out on my cats and they hated it. The spray was cold and the nubs did not work well on either cat's fur. My big boy is part main coon so his fur is thick. While it did pull some of the shedded fur out, it did not pull as much as a simple brush or comb does. This left him with cold wet fur that feels and looks rough. I recomb him with his old brush which made him happy.I tried it on the girl, who is a domestic short hair, and she hated the cold mist. It did not work at all with her short hair. I used a towel to rub her dry and it pulled more fur off her than the comb did.Not impressed and not worth the cost.

I have 4 cats and I tried this steam brush on each of them. 2 are okay with it, the other 2 runs away. For the 2 that I can use this brush on, it does an okay job with brushing the hair and the steam keeps the hair in place. I will continue to try on the other 2 kitties but that's going to take time.
