It took 3 attempts to realize girls junior and girls youth/ big kids are not the same even though listings are not that clear on Amazon. Good quality and fit now that we have the correct size.

I am a small woman who works out at home, so I mainly want workout shorts that are cheap and don't keep falling off over and over throughout my whole workout. These shorts are a bit shorter than I might choose for working out in a gym, but they meet both of my main requirements. I have 5 or 6 pairs, and in my opinion they are totally worth the $4-6 I spent on them.If I had a little girl, I might be concerned about the length, but I think they seem to be what people expect when you say "cheer shorts." As to sizing, I have found them true to the Soffe size chart. For reference, I am 5'4", just under 100 lbs, and my hips are 31.5" at the widest. Based on the size chart I buy Mediums and am happy with them. The large would probably be okay too, but with wider leg openings, which I think are less modest for doing things like situps if someone else happens to be nearby.

Worked great for this march maddness project i got myself into for my daughter. Task was to come dressed as her favorite sport and she chose soccor. Ill be honest, when i got them i almost got a heart attack because they looked so small but they fit great. She wouldnt take them off after. Lol Also, they are decent for adding on appliques.

Great shorts for the price. My daughter says they are comfy. I would suggest sizing up. My daughter is thin and I followed sizing guidelines but just barely fit. In a couple weeks I'm guessing I'll have to buy new ones.

I was leery of these shorts shrinking a lot in the dryer and I was also concerned about the fabric being flimsy and cheap looking. Not so! They washed well and dried well and if they shrunk, it wasn't noticeable to me. The next day I came back to Amazon and ordered two more pairs and I plan on ordering more for her summer wardrobe. These shorts were made well, the fabric doesn't look cheap, and the price is really inexpensive. I'm always looking for a good deal and these are definitely it.

watch the online labeling of these~ When ordering, these were called Soffe Big Girl's New Short. When received, they are tiny! I think they can fit my 4yr old perfectly! The funny thing is, I ordered a second pair at the same time that were labeled the same way but in a different color and they are what I expected - a medium for adults/juniors. (Note: I had these shorts in red from a previous order that were perfect so I clicked to reorder, just picked the gray and I ended up with baby pants.)

These shorts are too short and too small. The inseam is much shorter than what the photo shows (maybe 1.5 inches). The shorts I ordered are supposed to fit a size 14 but what I received fits like a size 8/10. These shorts are very simple-soft cotton with an elastic waist band. I bough these for my daughter to wear to basketball practice. They seem more like pajamas. I doubt they will even fit her as sleep wear. I guess I'll donate them to charity. During the summer the big box store sells shorts similar to these for about $3. The only reason to order these is1.If you need play clothes or pajamas and you don't live near a store.or2. It is winter and you can't find shorts at the store.These are nothing special.
