I did not purchase for any scientific purpose, I purchased this to make 2 part wood bleach. While there are commercial 2 part wood bleach kits available they are expensive and have very little product. Making my own works very well. Working with the chemicals is dangerous, they create considerable heat and fumes and if not done correctly the combination can explode, not something that should be done without PPE and following instructions explicitly.
