Easy to put on and safe and comfortable. Used the first time and am a rooky climber. Took 1.5 hours to climb a 100’ fir limbing on the way up. Didn’t dig in or bite into me at all. Felt like I never had it on after I took it off. Very happy I bought it vs a high dollar harness.

We have a roofing company and have bought multiple of these harnesses. We use them daily and are tough on them. They are durable and hold up well. Great product! We will buy more in the future.

Just opened up this harness and first impressions are wonderful. The workmanship looks impressive and the fit is very good. All straps have keepers and out of the way. Fairly easy to get on and off. Can’t wait to try it out tomorrow.

I am quite impressed with the construction. I had been using a Weaver leather arborist harness backed up by a Miller full body fall arrest harness to climb my tower for years. It is not very comfortable to climb (a tower) in, but you could hang from a tree in it nearly all day long. This SOB FB Harness is so much nicer to climb with. I don't know why I did not get a tower oriented harness sooner. Well, yes I do. I am frugal and make do with what I have. I am not at all sorry I bought this. From a functional point of view one of the things that sold me on this particular harness are the two equipment loops on the waist belt. In the pictures you can see a few carabiners and loop webbing attached to one of them. The other is both a front D-ring on the waist and the pair of positioning hip D-rings. I have been up the tower once with this new harness and love it.I have dangled from each of the attachment points to check the fit and support. I definitely won't be happy to dangle from the rear fall arrest attachment very long (not in this one or any other I have tried). The positioning points are great. The front waist ring allows for a nice hands free lean back to work on stuff. The first thing I expect to wear on the harness is the neoprene-like padding on the shoulder and leg straps. It will take some good use for that to happen. The waist belt has deep ribbed padding covered in a much tougher soft cordua type fabric. From a safety standpoint I don't see any concerns. The webbing is strong and the stitching as robust as I have seen on other harnesses from more familiar companies. The package comes with an EU Declaration of Conformity to EN 361:2002, EN358:2018, EN 813:2008 for what that is worth. The documentation is microscopic and not useful. The design with a connecting carabiner between the waist D-ring and over the shoulder straps allows you to don and doff the harness without having to readjust the shoulder or rear straps. There is plenty of strap length. I had nearly 3' extra on both front and the rear strap. I show how I folded it under the elastic keepers. This is what I found to have the harness fit well and safely. Fully loose the leg and waist belt straps. Step into the leg straps, pull up the belt to your waist, then duck into the shoulder straps. Connect the carabiner if you had it open to begin with. Adjust the waist belt across the top of your pelvis, and cinch it up. There is an obvious place if feels right. Next get the leg straps up into the crotch with the padding just under your buttocks, and cinch them up. Set the shoulder straps so that the REAR D-ring is between the top 1/2 of your shoulder blades. Adjust the front shoulder straps so it sits there nicely...don't tighten so much that it pulls. Now you want to adjust the rear strap. I am 5'7", so I had to tighten mine from the out of the box position. If you are tall you will likely need to lengthen this. In any case take up the slack in the rear by reaching back and pulling on the tail of the strap. If you reach back over your shoulder to grab the rear D-ring is should be sitting between your shoulder blades, and when you pull up on it you will feel a couple inches of "play" as the elastic on the seat straps stretches. Then it will "bite". Check the front and back adjustment to get the balance right.

I bought this for climbing pine trees in my yard and slowly cutting them down.Essentially I'm trying to be a DIY arborist.I absolutely love the harness, makes me feel like I have the same gear as the professionals use, but without the expense. It works perfectly, has the right clips and loops everywhere that I expect.Even the back loops for hanging a chainsaw or other equipment while climbing.Only one quibble, and it's a small thing, but 2 of the straps have a tendency to loosen over time. The don't loosen much, but it's the only way I can possibly imagine to improve the harness is to somehow lock those straps in place once they're adjusted.Otherwise, it's perfect.Highly recommended product.

This is a great value climbing system. So it lacks the quick snap buckles and takes a couple minutes to put on. Otherwise, has all the features of a name brand that costs 4 times more. High quality for a low price. Sure it's snug on the frank and beans, just need to make the right adjustments.

I'm climbing towers for Ham Radio operators. For years, I've gotten by using a waste belt and a single lanyard. For years, I've been free climbing up and down towers. Now that I'm older and my hand strength isn't what it once was, I needed to up the safety issue's of climbing. I watched all the videos and I did the research. I needed a harness that gave me the ability to use 2 lanyards so I'm never free from the tower. I also needed a method to prevent falls. This harness provides both methods of positioning and fall restraint.I have a lanyard around the tower at all times and when I'm in a working position, it nice that one of the positioning methods works as a seat so I can rest a bit when needed. The D ring on my back works as the fall restraint. While looking for a new full body harness, I found a great many of them in the market. I also found a great many of them are very expensive. I supposed if I were climbing for a living I could make a case for spending more money but why would I ?This harness is built well. It's comfortable to hang / sit in when taking a break on a tower. It provides all the needed safety measures which is important to me. I'm 71 years old and I suffered a heart attack last year. With this harness, I'm comfortable and I enjoy the confidence that I am not going to fall.( IF ) I were to ask for any improvement in this harness, it would be to improve the method of adjusting the leg and shoulder straps. Getting into this harness the first time was interesting. Once I had it on, getting it adjusting correcting took some work.I thought for some time I would like to have one of the more expensive harness' that have quick couplings on the legs, waste and shoulder straps. That would make a full body harness much easier to get on. HOWEVER, it also made the harness much more expensive. All things considered, this is the way to go. IT DOES THE JOB for less than half the price. Thank you SOB for making this available. IT's A VERY NICE / COMFORTABLE PEACE OF EQUIPEMENT

While this may be overkill for my zipline, it is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to put on, super easy to adjust once it is on so it fits perfect, just tug on straps which are all accessible while wearing. It supports my entire body top to bottom and is very comfortable. High Quality! Couldn't be happier and still can't believe the price. I paid much more for junk; this is worth every penny and then some.
