Got these to raise my Klipsch Forte speakers off the ground, so that they are at a seated ear level. They are just the right size and perfectly suited to the task.Took about 10 minutes to set up. All parts, screws and a tool are included in the box.Compared to buying branded stands, this is a perfectly happy hack.

This is very well made and incredibly sturdy. The little rubber feet on the bottom prevent slipping and you feel very secure when standing on it. Even a big guy like myself. And, unlike ugly plastic step stools, this one looks super nice when not in use. I am very impressed.

I was looking for a step stool after my hip surgery so I could safely get into my bed without falling. This stool fits the bill perfectly. The stool is stylish, very stable and the perfect height for stepping up into my bed.

Works great! Easy to assemble (I even managed it using only one hand, since the other is currently in a cast), and it's very sturdy and stable. It's weight rated for 350 lbs, but I expect it would probably hold 400 lbs if you had a need for something that heavy. The only con to this is the finish on the stool top is very slippery (which is dangerous for something people stand on to get in and out of bed.) I've put some grip tape on it so I don't accidentally slide off.

This is a well made step stool for the low price point. It literally takes 10 minutes to assemble this step stool (without using the included instructions). This step-stool consist of 2 metal legs, 1 metal support bar, and 1 "wood" (ok, particle board) platform, all held together by 6 long hex-head bolts. There are even extra bolts and an Allen wrench included with this step-stool. Just be sure to use the 4 shorter length bolts on the leg connections to the platform, and the 2 longer bolts on the support bar connections to the legs. Also, do not over-tighten the 4 bolts that hold the legs to the platform, as they will come through the top of the platform (luckily, I read about this problem in other reviews before assembling). If you start to hear a cracking sound while tightening the 4 leg bolts, Stop! The platform is covered with a Melamine like plastic coating, and there are 4 hard plastic protective covers pre-installed at each corner of the platform.This step-stool will actually support a lot of weight for its size. I am not sure about the rated 350 lbs, as I have not tested this step stool with that much weight. However, this step-stool will hold all of my 190 lbs for several minutes, with no problem at all. It should therefore hold the weight of most "average" adults, and any child, without any trouble. Also, for reference, this step-stool is 12 inches wide, 16-3/4 inches long, and 6-1/2 inches high. The platform is 11/16 inches thick.When I purchased this step-stool (I purchased 2 in black), I was actually looking for floorstanding (tower) speaker stands, which are ridiculously overpriced. When I saw the price of this step-stool, I figured I would give it a try as a speaker stand, and it actually functions well, and looks great for this purpose (see photo). I am using 2 Klipsch R-610F tower speakers as the rear surround sound speakers in my home theater system. I wanted to get about 6 inches more height from the speakers, so I looked for some decent speaker stands. Yikes, they are expensive! That is when I Googled step-stools, and came across this great step-stool/now speaker stand product for nearly one-tenth of the price of an actual speaker stand. After measuring the speaker bases to make sure they would fit the step-stool platform, I ordered 2 of these step-stools. The Klipsch R-610F tower speakers "only" weigh 36 pounds, so this step-stool holds them with ease. Speaker stand Problem solved!I highly recommend this step-stool for use as an actual step-stool or a speaker stand. It works well for both purposes, and it doesn't cost a fortune like a lot of other products of this type on the market. In any case, if anyone needs someone/something under 350 pounds to be elevated 6-1/2 inches higher, then look no further. This step-stool will work perfectly for that purpose.
