We finally got snow, aired this up and hit the local sledding hill, had about a half an hour of fun and then it burst. My son is on the sled, he weighs 70lbs. I went down and I’m under 200lbs.We didn’t come close to weight limit and there was extra room for more air.I contacted customer service we will see what they say.

First snow at our new home, and ordered this just in time to have a fun day sledding down the nearby hills. This product is large enough to hold a teen or adult. Was fast, so may not be appropriate for young kids.

It popped on our first ride down the hill. We were super disappointed.

That joke was on me, this winter, my part of the East Coast received absolutely no snow. Nada. All I could do with my beautiful snow tube, was blow it up and look at it.But I will say, it is incredibly sturdy and well-made.I had the heaviest person out of my group sit on it, and it supported them wonderfully. Their bottom side did not sink down to the floor and it holds weight very well.It is very well-made, strong, and easy to inflate and deflate.Next winter, we will have plenty of snow to put this to the true test

Well, wouldn't you know it... since I ordered this we haven't had more snow! Hopefully I can update this review this winter! (See update below.)The tube is very sturdy though; the material it is made of seems fairly tough, at least tougher than other inflatable sleds we've owned. It has been through a lot sitting in my living room. As you can see, it makes a great place for the kids or dog to relax. I do feel like it will be a wonderful sledding tube, as soon as we can use it. My only concern is that it's so big, if someone goes over a bump on a sledding hill, how high will they fly? Teens could easily reach and hang on to the handles, but I think I'll keep it to calmer sledding hills for the younger kids.Update:We got to try it in the snow! It's a lot of fun and glides well across the snow. The kids on this inflatable tube sled farther than the people on solid plastic sleds. I was worried about going over bumps, but the kids said this tube was like a nice car suspension on bumps and very comfy to ride. They didn't try the jumps on the sledding hill though. It's definitely big enough for two kids or teens.

Review of: **Retrospec Snowslide XL 54” Inflatable Snow Tube with Puncture Resistant PVC, 4 XL Grab Handles and Repair Kit for Children and Adults | Winter Snow Sports, Sledding and Snow Tubing**This snow tube from Retrospect is perfect for adults or kids to have some fun on a snowy hill. The PVC material is a medium thickness, but seems perfect for snow conditions without making it too heavy. The handles are large enough to grab with gloves or mittens on and having four of them means they're easy to locate. With a 54" diameter, an adult can fit on it easily (I am 6-1 190lbs and had plenty of room) and two small/medium size kids go ride together.Filling is also pretty easy. It has a double valve system, where you can open a large hole completely up to let the air out quickly (and I do mean quickly) or use the outer valve that is one-way (it lets air in but not out) to fill with a pump or by mouth. Against the recommendations, I filled with an air compressor but was careful not to overfill. It worked fine and filled very quickly.I was quite impressed with how slick the surface feels against snow and ice and found that with the large surface area on the bottom, it slides really well. We couldn't give its a full test since the hill on our property is half melted, but my son is looking forward to trying it out next time we get a few inches. Based on testing in the backyard, it should proof to be great.
