Had about 16" of snow on my roof and it worked as advertised. Made the removal so much easier than the traditional snow rakes.

Bought this to get thick snow off my barn. Cut though perfectly. Works as described. Easy to assemble. I used the video to put together. Took about 15 minutesHighly recommend

This works well for snow removal from a roof. Much easier to use than a roof rake and is a lot quicker.

Thought this would be great for taking the snow off my low pitch, single story roof. I was incorrect. It is hard to use. You have to be very careful to not “dig” into the shingles. The weight and length of the peeler make it very hard to use and control. Didn’t work for me, but the concept is a good one.

I love how easily it slides through the soft snow and how easily that snow falls down the plastic. It is a little had to angle it to my roof, where the pitch isnt too steep. The piles that fall down and a little hard to pick up because of the force that they hit the ground. Be ready for the snow to FLY toward you. Works very well. You can easy extend by adding another pole, or shorten by taking one away. The handle is very sturdy as well and the “cutting” blade

Worked great, removed tons of snow from a low sloped roof with no major problems. The only issue we had was with installation. The small brace brackets didn't both line up with the holes and we had to make some adjustments. Still a great product for a very snowy year. Powder snow was a piece of cake to remove. Heavy wet snow was harder work, and frozen snow took some effort to work the frame through. But it held up nicely and is ready for the next few feet of snow. Spendy, but worth the money considering we sleep better at night knowing the roof won't be coming down on us.

Short answer: works perfect. Took 18” of snow off my roof quickly. Study, will last a long time.Long answer: maybe I didn’t read well enough, if you have a second story buy 40ft or more depending on you roof. Wish the description had given some advice. I guess I could have went outside and measured, but who does that? So I ordered the extension pieces. 40ft is not light. I did fine, but I thought I would say it. Wielding something that long can be a struggle. Take your time. Don’t slam it on your roof. It will be tempting to drop the rake in place, especially the further you have it away from your body. Was worth it for me. Snow roof removers around where I live charge up to $500 and hour as of 1/20/2023. If you are able, this tool may save you a little money.

Works relatively well for my roof. I have a very slight pitch to my roof, so there is no way I can do this from the ground. I have to get up on the roof and stand on the peak of the roof to use this. Sort of backward from what you see in the videos. But, if you push it from the peak to the edge of the roof, once it gets to the edge, the snow begins to slide off. Much, much easier than shoveling a roof. I am in my 60s and do not look forward to shoveling a roof when I am 70. This gives me an alternative. We have large sheets of ice that come off the roof in the spring causing a gigantic pile in my driveway. We have a son who needs to enter and exit via a wheelchair lift and the large pieces of ice prevent access to the wheelchair lift. So once that ice comes off the roof, he is trapped inside. This helps us to keep the snow at a minimum on the roof so far. First year I am trying this, and hope that it will help with the snow and ice situation coming off the roof in the spring. I had to modify the snow peeler a bit to keep the plastic sheet from bending and having the snow slide off the backside of it to one side or the other. I put a piece of PVC pipe on the end to keep the loose and straight and bungee cord it to the pole. Today will be the first day that I try that design out. Will try to remember to post back.

I had purchased a less expensive unit on Amazon for $89.99, thinking all of these units were alike. I was very disappointed. The cutting edge was flimsy, thin aluminum that bent and twisted within 5 minutes of first use. The handle was so flimsy I was afraid it would buckle. I returned it immediately. The Snowpeeler unit is MUCH stronger. The cutting head is twice as thick with a cutting edge ground into it. The handle is much larger diameter made of thick aluminum. It's so beefy that you can't raise it using the 4th section of the pole.Assembly took several attempts because the diagram showed all parts, but didn't indicate order of assembly, which is important. Please update the instructions.I would also recommend the addition of something like a bicycle grip to aid in its use. My wrists and forearms are taking a beating while using it.
