Used this for an office prank.I have no expertise with this kind of machine whatsoever, but with purchase of some of what seems to be standard snow fluid also on Amazon, it was trivial to fill it up, turn it on, and set the stage for some laughs at the ol' office.I have no complaints - works as advertised and seems to work well. Can't speak to the longevity, but its definitely fit for purpose - if that purpose is being a bit of a joker.

The machine was easy to set up and the remote control made it simple to adjust the snowflake output. The artificial snow looked realistic and created a magical atmosphere for my event. It covered a large area with snowflakes and the 800W power ensured a steady output throughout the night. I would highly recommend this snow machine for any party, event, wedding, or stage production.

This "snow" generator is all metal - no cheap plastic here! It's quite heavy and solid, with a sturdy metal handle so it can be fastened into the rafters, as well as rubber feet so it can simply sit on a horizontal surface. Ideally, you want it as high as safely possible, so the "snow" can fly around and look pretty.Just to be clear, this isn't actually snow, and isn't cold - it's basically foamy soap bubbles. Unlike a bubble machine though, these soap bubbles are clumpy and clustered, so they do look somewhat like snow, especially in the air.Setup and operation was super easy - you simply pour snowflake-mix into the reservoir, put the machine in a place where it can spray the snow in the direction you want, turn it on, and push the control button. That's it! The "snow" comes out almost instantly and piles up astonishingly quickly. Since it's really just soap bubbles, it cleans up after itself fairly quickly too when you're finished. My only complaint is that there is effectively no manual - the "instruction" page is really just generic warnings, nothing really helpful about how to use it or proper maintenance. Fortunately, it's super easy and I had no troubles anyway.

I picked up this snow machine to add a bit of “wow” factor to a backyard gathering, and it didn’t disappoint. Setting it up was straightforward, and the remote control was a nice touch—it allowed me to adjust the snow effect without constantly running back to the machine mid-party.The “snow” created a magical atmosphere, especially for the kids, who were running through it and trying to catch the flakes. It really made the event special. I was concerned it might be messy, but the artificial snow dissipated quickly and didn’t leave much cleanup afterward. The machine feels durable and packs a good amount of power for its size. That said, I did notice it needs a steady power source for consistent performance—something to keep in mind if you’re planning on using it outdoors for extended periods. For anyone looking to bring a winter feel to their event, this machine does the job well. Just be prepared for a few envious neighbors peeking over the fence to see what all the excitement is about.

Used a smaller snow machine over the holidays to ensure we had a white Christmas and it worked pretty well, produced a very nice mini blizzard in the front yard and the kids went crazy. We used CHAUVET DJ Snow Fluid, which was the most cost-effective snow fluid I could find from a name brand.I look forward to using this larger one to make even MORE snow this year! It also has a wireless remote, which the other one didn't, so that should be really cool as well.I did learn, though, that when I was done making snow to run boiling water through for 10 minutes to clean it (just stick the tube in the water rather than filling the onboard tank) and then run pre-mixed anti-freeze for 30 seconds before storing it for the next time it'll be used. The pre-mixed anti-freeze is the same stuff used to top off the radiator on my PT Cruiser, BTW. I don't think you really need much more than that, as it contains everything needed to keep the snow machine's plumbing in top order while stored.
