I have not purchased a mask and snorkel set for the last 30 odd years. I wanted a separate set to keep on my boat if a wanted to swim around looking at fish or if I had an engine/hull problem below the waterline that needed attention. I ordered this LMWSPT set and found that it met or exceeded the benchmarks I would expect in a mask/snorkel combo. First I found that once I adjusted the straps the fit seemed very nice and snug. Visibility is excellent and I can pinch my nose with ease for equalizing while submerged. The snorkel attaches to the mask strap and can be worn to the right or left side of your head based on personal preference. I also adjusted the snorkel attachment location lower on the tube and further back on the strap so, when I am floating on the surface and looking down, the top of the snorkel is above my head and not out in front of me. As I mentioned above, my old outfit is VERY old so the dry-top snorkel will be a new feature to me. I’ll put in an edited review if I experience any problems (i.e. I have not had the opportunity to in-the-water test this just yet). Four stars at the moment.

This setup is okay depending on what you're going to do with it. I use it to swim laps at my local pool so I'm not turning my head all the time, I also usually get water up my nose and this setup was good because I didn't have to wear nose clips. There is a small rubber nose piece inside the mask that broke and ripped, I'm still using the mask and the snorkel I just had to put some cushy tape over the nose piece so it doesn't dig into the top of my nose. All in all depending on what you're using it for it's a great little setup.

If you have ever snorkeled with the standard snorkel mask and mouth piece, you will really appreciate this equipment. It makes snorkeling so much easier and enjoyable, not having to worry about a mouth piece or blowing the water out of it after descending. As far as I am concerned this style of equipment has revolutionized snorkeling. It is that much better. The mask material seals very well to the face and if you do manage to get in some water, it seems to just drain right out! AMAZING!

I took this with me on a kayak camping trip. It fit me perfectly and was a blast to use to look under the water at stuff. I am 6'2 and was worried it would be too small for my head, as most goggles are.. not this set. It fit perfect, with room to get plenty bigger if needed. The snorkel has a ball in the tip to prevent water from going inside which is super awesome, I have never had one with this feature and now wouldn't wan to use one without it!

I got this for my 13 year old this summer and she absolutely put it through it's paces - no leakage, good fit, and didn't get as cloudy as others. Good value for the money.

If you are tired of renting snorkeling gear and not knowing how clean they are, this is a perfect alternative and it works well. Easy to use and easy to clean. It worked well underwater and I didn’t have any issues. The gear itself is sturdy and seals well.

We tested the unit in a pool, and everything works. The snorkel worked out better than the mask, which had a tear at the top of the nose area (inside the mask). I believe the mask didn't seal well due to this issue. I just think it's a weak spot due to the silicone rubber being very thin in areas. Hopefully it was only our mask, it's being returned for replacement.Unit comes with a carry/drying bag providing protection, the glass is tempered. The mask blocks out UV light and allows you to have little reflection issues. I wouldn't take this mask and snorkel any deeper than say 15-20 feet, it's for light duty snorkeling on a reef or in shallow water. It's not really "scuba gear", that term means it's for open water with air tanks.
