First off...they fit perfectly in a carry on suitcase and i can definitely recommend these. I was just on an island hopping adventure for 45 days and took these with me. Some of the reviews caused me concern, such as: they fall off, hard to adjust, they broke and they were uncomfortable. I experienced none of that. These were way better than expected and am very happy with the purchase. I used them almost daily for 45 days, sometimes twice a day and had no issues at all. I thought the propulsion was very good considering their reduced size and i found them to be comfortable for longer snorkeling excursions where i would swim off the beach for 2 hours. There is some flex to them, but the are def on the firm side which is a very good thing as energy isn't lost in the flex as is common with some cheap fins with way too much flex. For first timers, these are my suggestions:1) For me, the best way to adjust them is while i am still at home. That way, they are ready to go before you need them.2) The heel strap on any set of fins is not meant to be pulled hard like an elastic band. For those that complained of breakage where the strap attaches to the fin, perhaps you were pulling too hard.3) Sit down and rotate the heel strap below the heel and slip your foot in all the way.4) now pull the heel strap up over your heel and see where you need to adjust. For me, i could tell it was too small so i didnt bother stretching the heel strap on. I let out 1 to 2 stops on each side of the buckle and tried again.5) the heel strap should be snug but not tight. It will be uncomfortable if your feet are jammed in them.6) i used electrical tape to tape the excess strap part to the heel strap so its not flapping around.7) enjoy your swim!

I actually returned these, my husband kept his. We were traveling and brought r our own snorkeling gear and these are sort of travel size. I found the strap around the back way bulky and pretty uncomfortable and returned these for a slip on style, but my husband wears fine with them.

Bought these for Hawaii and they were great, however, unless you are a frequent user, not worth the bag sauce it takes up as they have them available on any tour

Comfortable. Just make sure to tighten them good before you get in deep water.

I bought these to use for snorkeling as I have a bigger set I use for scuba. They fit into my dry bag so I take them with me to the beach. They are comfortable and work well.

I've been trying out several fins for sale on Amazon, so if you'd like to see other options to this set just look up my reviews. The pair of fins is relatively lightweight, very very decent propulsion using several kicking motions like frog kicking, normal flutter kick, dolphin, scissor and even backward kicking.I know that no one fin is designed to be perfect for each/every type of kick but I wanted to give them each the same type of use. For this pair I found it great at all kicks including frog kicking. For the boot, I like the release clamp on the side but prefer the style of others. And the shell of the boot is made with very soft/comfortable rubber which was nice on my bare foot. The sizing was great as my wide foot fit easily so my thought on this pair is so far the best of the lot I've tried.

Does fit very well for travel. Quality and fin size are less than expected.
