Several things to note:1- product arrived ahead of schedule2- we had some problems but customer service communication was surprisingly amazing. Messages through Amazon sometimes took a day but they always responded.To clear things up they even called me. I didnt have to call them!3- I made some suggestions to help improve the product and they said they are actually implementing these changes!4- the machine itself will be used by my wife, she’s just starting her exercising career now, only two months in and so this seemed like the kind of machine that would be for her level of experience. If she follows through then we will look into something of a more professional grade.My thanks to Amy and the customer service rep who called me and helped me through everything. I was pleasantly surprised by their follow-ups.

First off I think you get what you pay for. This gym is very low end. I think in order to use the pull up bar you must bolt it to concrete, the pulley system is very low end quality not smooth at all. The frame is not high end either it is very shaky. The pins that hold bands and Landmine attachment are to small and fall out. The smith bar is pieced together with a lot of plastic parts. Not sturdy at all. A lot of the parts are made of plastic nylon like cable cross where weights go is flimsy. I’m considering taking it apart and paying more for a quality machine. Like I said in beginning you get what you pay for , go cheap expect a cheap, low quality machine. Some parts seemed sturdy. Like leg press attachment and dip station . The assembly instructions were great , followed perfectly. The functionality of the machine is not tested quite yet but I will review again to let you know if it is better than it seems right now.UpdateFalse advertising, it says 12 gauge steel come to find out it’s 14 gauge steel and it is dangerous if you do a drop test it damages the steel and could potentially severely injure someone when the safety catches break due to low quality steel. I will be sending this thing back . They should pay me to have to take apart and rebox everything. What a nightmare.

I am 55. I used to run until I hurt my right knee and my right hip. I went to my doctor who sent me to a physical therapist. Nothing helped. My friend told me to do barbell squats to strengthen my core. I did the squats, but could only squat up to 90lbs free weight. My lower back would start hurting. We went ahead and purchased this Smith Machine because I wanted to prevent lower back injury. Well, it is great. I can squat pain-free now.

This smith machine, dual cable machine, rack system with plate storage and all the accessories is an amazing purchase. I absolutely LOVE this and the fact I can do everything I want to for my workouts without having to fight someone for time on the equipment.PROs:- Sturdy- Universal tubing for additional accessories for rack (convenient)- VERY smooth cables- Easy to assemble (2 people makes it MUCH easier)- Completely versatileCONs:- for Lat pulldowns, this could be an issue for taller people, I am only 5' tall, so this is not an issue for me, but it COULD be if you are extremely tall with a very long reach- Came missing a couple of parts, working with Customer Service (received one box with spare parts - they got the pulley and bushings right, but I am still missing the barbell holder that attaches to the area that holds the plates. I even sent pics from the manual, circled the part to ensure the missing piece was easy to identify. Again, I am still waiting for their reply.)- Hooks for the attachments arrived bent. Received a small credit, but that was one of the differentiators of why I picked this equipment, so I was VERY bummed when 3 out of the 4 were compromised. Appears to have been bent during shipment - the boxes were pretty rough when they arrived, I was amazed nothing else had any scratches or dents.Overall, I really LOVE this equipment and am happy with my purchase. (I do wish the customer service was a little quicker to reply.)
