Fast, humane handling of animals. Used by animal-control professionals, this restraining snare has a handle of 1 1/4"w heavy-gauge ribbed aluminum tubing in your choice of lengths. The retractable noose, of braided, plastic-coated aircraft cable, forms a loop from 1" to 14" in diameter. The noose tightens by sliding the handle toward you and locks in any position with a twist from either wrist. Unlocks and releases easily. Available in varying lengths, listed below.

Used the noose 0ne-time on a small 20 pound piglet and the fixed end of the snare come out of the housing. Email sent to company via Amazon - no reply. Affixed the loose end to outside housing to "repair" the unit and tried it again, this time the movable part of the noose pulled out of the unit, rendering the noose completely unusable. Waste of money. Units wand is sturdy but the connection of the noose is a manufacturing defect!

You never want to need this but you want to trust it when you do. This one is great quality and not too heavy.

Purchased this for our kennel and used it twice since purchased. It no longer locks, making it dangerous for single person use. $100 Trash, unfortunately.

So far have only had to handle one fox with this. Very easy to use and works great so far, I will post do a follow up later in the trapping season to let everyone know how it does

I tried it on a stray bichon and i've caugt him with the pole. It was very efficient. It s easy to use (instruction for use is on the handle). I've the 6 feet one and i think it's better to buy this one for fearful animals, it's more practical. It's robust.

This is a wonderful addition to my rehab supplies for moving adult rescue raccoons to keep my hands away from their teeth. It's also been helpful to move my 70-lb lab mix from her older sister's heated bed!

I tried using this is a push/pull stick as a teg like when operating an overhead crane. It didn't work as I had for this application. But if you were going to use this to catch an animal, it would work perfectly. It was very smooth and sturdy.

I baught this to used with my wildlife trapping business. Unfortuantly its a new business so I haven't got the chance to use except on my cats. It works pretty good but is probably going to be pretty hard to catch a pissed off racoon, so thats going to take some practive. The cats hate it. I baught it to go down a chemney or something like that. Places I can't get a trap to.
