I like this. It’s a handy thing to have for storing CD’s in the car

Good quality with a sturdy structure. Not sure that the Button mechanism will hold up with time. Otherwise good value.

As above. So few items are really so easy to assemble as this proves to be.

Si eres de los que les gusta tener las cosas en orden, esto es para ti. El tamaño es adecuado para guardar discos o algunos otros objetos de tamaño similar, el material es cartón duro, muy resistente y con un acabado muy elegante, además el precio es lo mejor. 100% recomendado.

I have a large CD collection that is overflowing my CD bookshelves. Since I have imported all my discs into iTunes I decided that most of them do not need to be out. I found this storage box while doing a search and it looked perfect and had a great price. I debated between the single-row and double-row box and decided on the single-row since it seemed to me a little more stable with less flex which would help the snaps stay in place, a common problem on the double-wide boxes according to the reviews. At $4.88 a piece, for the single box option ($12.99 for the two box option) I thought I would take a chance and buy 5 boxes, the maximum allowed for the order I thought. They arrived and were very easy to put together, the lid is pre-assembled, and I was impressed with the quality. The snaps were tight, and the boxes hold together well when fully loaded. Many of my CD's are Japanese with obi strips, which I like to keep with the CD, so I have those in poly bags for extra protection. The CD's fit in the box nicely, even in the poly bags, and the lid just rests on the top of the CD's, which is fine as it is good for stacking.I was so impressed I wanted to buy another 5. I put together another order with those as my "add-ons", but at checkout I was informed that Amazon will not sell me any more. I guess there is no limit on the 2-packs for $12.99. I went over to Staples which sells them for $5.99, with free shipping and you can buy as many as you want, I bought 10. It may not be much of a savings over the 2-pack, but I think that is a better way to do business. For as much as I buy from Amazon, this was not a positive experience.Update: I ordered 10 more from Staples, for roughly the same price as 5 two-packs. The quality was fairly consistent, except for one which didn't have tight snaps on one side. It would unsnap on its own after a while, so I followed the recommendation of another reviewer and used Gorilla Glue on the snaps. That worked fine.Another reviewer mentioned receiving a box that was missing a side. I noticed on many of mine the sides were stuck to the bottom panel and I had to use a little effort to peal them off. They are a fine product, but just be aware of a few minor issues.

Summary: Mine arrived in ONE day (I live near the distribution center for these); they popped together in an instant; they hold more than advertised; one out of ten that I ordered had a problem.Like many people these days we hardly ever play our CD's; we just copy them to our pc and then play the tracks from there. With networked TVs and gaming systems you can play almost anything that has been loaded onto your pc from other devices so we hardly ever need the CD anymore. That coupled with syncing the tracks to our handheld devices means we usually stick the CD in a drawer or cabinet and forget about it.I know that I can just download the tracks and not bother with CD's at all but I have had too many instances of DRM problems or corrupted or lost tracks and having the CD to reload is just a nice fail-safe thing for me. And now with Amazon creating the mp3's for us when we buy a CD it is great. The only issue is storing the CD's so that I can find the one I want or need for a restore or whatever. With these boxes I was able to catalog them and store them away neatly and in a protected manner. It is true that the CD cases stick up a bit above the edge of the box but this is clearly shown in the advertising photos so I don't fault them for that. The cover does, indeed, lie atop the CD cases and rest upon them but there is little or no chance of damage from that so I don't count that as a fault.I ordered 10 of these and found I needed only nine because I could actually get 33 CD's in jewel cases rather than the advertised 30. That worked out well because one of the boxes had one of the snaps out of place and it didn't line up with the mating part so that one box couldn't be used. I have not contacted the company yet so I don't know what the resolution might be but I got these at $4.35-ish each so it's hardly worth the bother of shipping to do a return. That one workmanship error is the reason for only 4 stars; which might be unfair having not yet given the company a chance to replace it.

These boxes are a great, inexpensive way to store CDs. I recently moved and had no space for my previous CD shelves, so when I saw these I decided to try them. The "add-on" feature for shipping is wonderful and saves a lot of shipping fees. They are easy to put together and very durable. I have about 15 of these and find them useful, attractive and stackable, so they're just about perfect. Highly recommended for CD storage.

I was delighted by these boxes. They are not glamorous, but they are efficient. I would have settled for a simple cardboard box that was exactly the size of a CD (and long enough to hold a bunch), and this, while essentially a cardboard box, is very thoughtfully designed. My reason for buying a bunch was to store CDs that I've now put on my computer, so I only need them for backup. I wanted the most compact manner possible to store them, and this is it. It also seems to be by far the cheapest.Until you need one, it is folded flat. It easily assembles, and is sturdy and attractive (black, with metal corners and a lable holder). I threw out all of my jewel cases, and bought a lot of paper sleeves for the CDs, and can fit a large number of CDs and booklets (maybe 80? I didn't count) in each box. I guess you could also keep the jewel cases, but I am delighted to have the shelf space back instead.I now also use one of them for computer backups and software disks. There's room in a single box for all of my backups, all of my software, all of the manuals, and a ham sandwich (although probably not the best place for the sandwich).
