My wife refuses to use our zero turn mower and often times we only need to trim a small area around the house. Our gas push mower doesn't work anymore so we've just been using the weedeater to "mow" the grass.Saw this SnapFresh mower for a good bit cheaper than the Ryobi electric mower and decided to give it a shot.Being winter, I wasn't able to give it a test on really tall grass, but thanks to the spring like fall that we had plenty of grass has sprouted back up that needed to be mowed down.The mower is much quieter than the db label states, I didn't even feel the need for hearing protection. No trouble cutting grass even down to the lowest height setting. Yes, this states about 1/4 acre capacity so be aware of that going in. For our needs it will be perfect. Be sure to actually read the instructions or you might end up like me thinking you got a bum unit - the safety switch on the side wasn't super obvious.Overall, pretty impressed. The mower is powerful and super compact - being able to fold most of the way up and having a builtin handle is great.

This works so much better than my old reel mower which had difficulty cutting thick tall grass. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, works really well, and I love that it’s electric. Just remember to adjust the cutting height if mowing an overgrown lawn - I forgot to do this at first and the blades got jammed and clogged from all the grass. After raising the height it worked perfectly without any problems. My lawn looks so neat and clean now, I highly recommend it. Assembly was easy and the batteries charge quickly.

Can only cut up to 800sqft of grass at a time. Poor performance. Battery overheats often and will lose power quickly. Will be returning to get something else.

The chassis itself and its general construction is not overall bad, I have read other reviews depicting it as a child's toy. I think it is because of the plastic outer shell and its overall weight.However, as I have seen others at or near this price point, while I did purchase it with $50 coupon being $212 after taxes, I found myself using it twice and noticing it handled well the first time even if the batteries did not last long. Both batteries lasted 15minutes 20+ minutes less then advertised. I figured they were just defective.I found the blade and the motor itself to be made of good quality material housed in plastic construction with a nice lever for height adjustment that was actually made of metal. The unit is light but unfortunately It would probably only last a month or 2. It cut well to begin with until my second try. It started making this odd noise while mowing as if it was about to go out on me while cutting and moving a certain way, seeming very janky. Leading me to believe the unit just would not last long.Aesthetically it was not bad to look at but overall it couldn't even cut a 1/5 acre yard without using the mower 3 times during the day with 2 hour charges in-between. Meaning you are pretty much working a full time job waiting a total of 6 hours for charging and then cutting for 15 minutes each time and the cooling phases between as well making it about 7hours + just to get my yard done.Perhaps it would be okay in a milder climate as I do live in Florida and with humidity and heat, it just couldn't handle it... I think that also effected how the motor handled cutting as well. My grass was only about 5"-6" the first 2 times I used it. I wish it worked out but unfortunately It did not.I am giving this 2 stars, only because the seller is very understanding and communicates with you. Some do not nearly as well nor do they go into great detail compared to this seller whom is absolutely wonderful. But my experience with this mower just was not up to Par.

The lawn mower needs to use two batteries at the same time, so for the first use, it is recommended to fully charge both batteries and keep the two batteries at the same level.It is equipped with a 40V motor, which is powerful, fast mowing speed, and not easy to get stuck;This machine has 5 mowing heights, the highest one is used for the first time, and the lower one is used for the next three times.Electric lawn mowers are lighter and easier to carry than gasoline lawn mowers. There is no need to worry about the gasoline engine not starting, and there is no need to buy gasoline and store gasoline. The electricity is clean and smokeless. People mowing the lawn will not inhale the black smoke emitted by the gasoline engine, nor will they get gasoline and oil on their hands.After fully charged, it can be used for about half an hour. My backyard is small, and it is very convenient to use.

I ordered this as I thought it would be great for my son who is just starting to cut the grass.Here is why I would not recommend1. The bagger does not actually pick up the grass!! We made sure many times and used several times to make sure it was properly on. It will pick up a few blades here and there but majority stays on the lawn.2. Battery time. It says it lasts 35min. It definitely did not. We have a very small yard and did not even make it 15min3. The blade or power of mower is not strong enough for thick grass so the blade gets very hots and burns the grass too crisp leaving big brown spots from the heat of the blade.I am not sure if we just got a bad one or something because the other reviews seemed good. We are super disappointed as I wanted to love it.The pros wereIt's very light weightSuper easy to storeStarts very easily unlike gasWas easy to assemble

Easy to use ,quiet,cuts great with no missed blades like with my old gas mower,no pull-cord start and it runs smooth,reliably and does everything a gas mower can do! We have a big yard,and one charge does the whole thing!It charges a lot faster than I expected.Highly recommended definitely worth it for the money!

There's so much that I like about this mower. The quality of the cut is far better than any other mower that I have used, it's very lightweight with great maneuverability, very smooth, powerful, and quiet, easy to assemble and operate, very nice twin battery charger while the batteries indicate the progression of charge, the batteries have a test button to indicate the state of charge with 3 bars, deck and handle height adjusts quickly, the grass catcher bag is nice although I don't use bags so I can't really comment about how well it works. This little 16" (15" cut) mower is excellent for a small lawn or hard to mow areas and doesn't attract the bugs like gas engines do.On the down side. After only 1 hour of use the rubber strip fell off that drags behind the mower, if I reinstall it, it will probably fall off again, it's not a necessary part but is really the only reason I took one star off. Also the lid on the top of the mower where the batteries install gets sticky and hard to open sometimes. On average the run time depending on the work load is about 27 minutes, the batteries take about 2 hours to fully charge and I like to let them cool down for 30 minutes before recharging them = 2.5 hours downtime between uses and can be expected with rechargeable mowers. Overall I'm very happy with this mower, except for the rubber strip falling off. An extra set of batteries would really help @ about $60 each = $120. For now my lawn has never looked so good, I do recommend this mower for smaller lawns.Update Oct. 1, 2024; One of my batteries started to have a problem not being able to accept a full charge, I contacted the seller on Aug. 19, 2024 and they were more than happy to ship me a new one and I received it fairly quick. I still really love this little mower, I have used it very often, I'd say on average 2 to 3 times per week, running the mower until the batteries were fully drained every time and allowing them to cool for about 1 hour before recharging. My lawn has never looked so good and this mower is so easy to push and operate. I think it deserves 5 stars but since the rubber strip fell off the back which helps fluff up the clipping so that they don't clump up I have left my 4 star rating unchanged.

This lawnmower works well for the money. It is very lightweight and seems like a child’s toy lawnmower! The batter doesn’t last that long but neither do the more expensive cordless lawn mowers. You can use the battery as a phone charger so that’s kind of neat.
