This snake grabber is easily assembled by screwing each portion together. Once assembled, each portion is very stable and doesn't wiggle loose, even by just and tightening each together. The trigger and jaws work well, and the padded region adds to both convenience and comfort. The length is perfect for ensuring you can hold snakes far away from you while maintaining excellent control. The lock mechanism works, but isn't as secure as advertised, nor does it want to easily reach the furthest setting. For this, I am giving 4 stars. Aside from the lock feature not properly operating, you can still maintain a secure grasp of the trigger to apply pressure and relocate snakes with ease. Overall, this is priced well for its quality and reach, it is simple to use and an overall convenient product to have in order to remove unwanted and potentially dangerous snakes.

I have been snake wrangling with a lasso for years, and hope this grabber will allow me to pursue into areas that I normally would be able to catch them.Bull snakes don't typically bite unless you ask them to, but they are fearsome to ride.These are 69 inch snake tongs, so I guess you should only use them on snakes 69 inches and longer but I don't see why they wouldn't work on snakes under 69 inches.They seem well built and are pretty easy to assemble. The most difficult part is getting the jaws set just right so they fully open and close.I like them and approve!

I have a lot of wood piles that need tending all year, this grabber is a must have item in an area where there are lots of poisonous snakes. We have an abundance of copper heads in this area. We also have many king/rat snakes that grow quite large, when I am working in an area I will relocate those and with this grabber it is very easy (beats the step and grab method)I highly recommend this grabber, build quality is fantastic and very easy to set up and use

I ordered this snake grabber tool as we constantly get a few rattlesnakes in the springtime on our property out in the forest. My concern is what to do if a rattler slides in under my enclosed dog yard.Thanks to this snake tool, now I have an option.This tool is quite sturdy. The assembly went all right; I ended up using the instructions to put it together. However, the video in this post does a great job of walking you through the setup.My favorite aspect of this tool is the length. Just how long is long?I laid this down behind my car and found that it spans the width of my car. That makes me feel a little better knowing that I have that added distance between me and the snake should the snake lunge at me instead of trying to slither away.Overall, I'm very confident that given the strength, quality, and length of this tool - I'll be ready for when that snake comes into our yard.
