I hate assembling furniture. I’ve always got to anticipate that either the holes aren’t where they should be, the instructions are gibberish,or there’s missing parts, or things just don’t go together the way they should. When I opened the box with this item, my heart sank because there are a lot of parts. Imagine my surprise when the instructions were actually fairly straightforward, they sent extra parts like screws just in case, and once assembled, I had a decent, functional, attractive, piece of furniture! I can fit 5 to 6 pairs of shoes in each compartment, depending on how clunky they are. It took me about two hours because I’m slow, but I’m pretty happy with this purchase.

I ordered this shoe closet and it has a weird design to it. I can’t open the first drawer without opening the second drawer. I like the style and color but don’t like how it operates.

Waited a long time for something I thought would be higher quality only to receive it chipped & painted over. Set it all up somehow, even though the instructions were crumbled up and hard to read. All the screws and small pieces to put the cabinet together were in different bags and had random labels. Very mismatched— felt like they grabbed pieces from other furniture and put it together. Set it up three times & the bottom drawer is still kind of crooked, which drives me nuts. The space to put your shoes is SO narrow, & restricts the drawer from closing if you stuff a pair of shoes in there. If there is too much in there, the weight swings the drawer open.TLDR; Very disappointed. There is probably something better looking and better quality out there. Don’t buy!

It's a very sturdy piece. I was concerned about it being top heavy and wobbly, but it's not. We have it on hardwood, not carpet. The only downside is that it only fits 4 pairs of shoes for the husband in one drawer and 5 for the wife. The height of the shoe matters too, like thick men's tennis shoes are tall. But we're happy with it. I like that the legs are metal, so the roomba/vacuums won't damage the corners etc.
