It just ok. Not as cool as I thought it would be. Does seem to do the job.

I am definitely a fan of these silicone bookmark clips. I love how well the silicone sticks to the page. You do have to be a little mindful when using them, so as not to crinkle book pages; however, I think mindfulness is good thing and I don't mind my bookmarks being an opportunity to practice it. It did take some time for me to get used to flipping up the part of the bookmarks that block the words, when I get to that section every other page, but once it became a new habit, it was easy. I give them 5 stars. Would recommend.

At first, I thought I wasn't going to like these. I got them to supplement a lighted magnifying book holder that didn't have any bookmarks built in. My fault for not paying attention to the photos and the fact that it's silicone. I was thinking it was hard plastic and wouldn't work. But I actually ended up liking these. They're silicone and flexible. So, I can clip the book at one area, then use the top flap to keep my place while reading. Since it's silicone, it tends to grab the pages better than plastic. So, this helps keep the pages in place and being flexible, I don't have to keep manipulating the bookmark every time I turn the page or inserting it when I'm done reading. Just turn and it keeps it taunt enough so only one page is turned and the others stay in place. But obviously, you do have to move that flap when reading lines that it covers. It also works for all sizes of books. Instead of trying to clip it at the rear as you would with a thin book, just clip it closer to the point you're reading in a large book, and the performance is the same. Was going to give it 4 stars, but since it still worked despite my error when ordering, I gave it 5 stars. I still need a better lighted magnifying book holder though-lol.

Just as it says, it's an "automatic" bookmark. So every time you turn the page, the flap is already pinged. If you're a victim to falling asleep mid-page, you don't have to worry about losing your spot! But I'm going to be going back to the tried and true bookmark for two reasons: (1) these only work on the right side of the page--so if your stopping point is on the left side of the page, you have to reclip, which is kinda more work than just a normal bookmark (which I just flip to face whichever page I end up on); and (2) the clips are thick, so it's hard to find a place where these don't block text (unless the top/bottom margins are oddly large). So, while these aren't for me, the automatic tracking is pretty neat.

It's easy to use and I don't have to keep watch of where I place my bookmark or search for it when I need to close my book. Plus I have 3 kids so I have to stop and shut my book at lot and sometimes fast. They are great and for the the price can't beat it.

I didn't realize how much I needed one of these until I started using it. They save me a lot of time when I'm searching for my place in a book. In the past, my paper bookmarks would often fall out when I moved the books, but these clips securely hold my pages in place, ensuring I never lose my spot. They attach smoothly without tearing any pages, and they function perfectly. No problems

I first tried this sitting up in a chair with a text book. It worked exactly as described. I could turn pages and the bookmark would automatically mark whatever page I'm reading. Then I put it to the real test and the reason I wanted this. I read in bed before going to sleep. I read until I know I will quickly fall asleep. I close the book. I turn off the light. I roll to my other side and I'm usually asleep within five minutes. The challenge is to mark my spot in the book before I close it and put it on the bookstand. In the past, I would use a narrow bookmark to fit in the book gutter and move it every time I turned the page. Now, I do not need to do this. The automatic bookmark keeps my place even as I am almost asleep before closing the book. Brilliant!
