I don't know if my cat is too young? She's now 11 months, but I have, owned in my life and in fostering, over 80 cats. I have never encountered one that doesn't react to catnip in dry form or in spray.

My cat loves the scent of this spray, and anything I spray it on. He goes to and plays with anything I spray it on, and it's great for teaching him to use his scratching post. It's non-greasy and non-irritating to most humans.

Every night after dinner, my husband and I retreat to our bedroom to watch our evening shows, and our older kitty is already pacing back and forth, ready for her Smokys Stash. 4 pumps at the foot of the bed and she's in bliss, plopping her fuzzy butt on the bed and rolling around. She's a fiend for this stuff and makes her displeasure known if we don't spray it. It keeps her calm and happy, so we're happy.

Always a great buy! I've purchased this spray a few times already and it never disappoints. My one cat LOVES this spray! I save it as a treat every few days, spraying her cat tree with it. She'll sit on the cat tree and bug for a fresh spritz, then she'll roll around all over it and take a long cat nap. It's great for keeping her in a good mood and out of trouble. The scent is strong enough that I can smell it, and it is a pleasant scent so I don't mind.Catnip might not be for all cats- I have two other cats that don't care about the spray- one doesn't react at all to any catnip and the other prefers fresh and leafy versions (probably because she just likes to eat plants). But for cats that really enjoy the scent of catnip, get this spray!

Overall this product seems to work, but doesn’t seem as potent as regular cat nip or even cat nip-infused toys. For the price it’s probably worth getting to help train or refresh old toys, but my cat didn’t go too crazy over it.

Cats are hit and miss, and that's the funniest part about buying products for them. After reading the reviews, I wasn't sure whether my cats were going to love it, or were going to never touch any items that felt its spray *ever again*.Turns out, my cats are in the obsessed camp. I sprayed this in their carriers before going to pick them up for the first time for adoption. I've always had cats that absolutely hated carriers, but I hadn't been introduced to the world of catnip before... Wow..so these cats were living in a cat café which means all the cats are free roaming. I joked to my husband that we would have about 20 cats coming up to us and clawing at our carriers. No joke, this is actually what ended up happening. Needless to say, the spray works really well with our cats, and has been a great way for me to show them what is their's in their new home. I spray it on scratchers, on blankets, etc. and it really seems to draw them in.It also seems to be a good distraction when they're playing a little too hard with each other; Ive just sprayed a blanket, thrown a toy on it, and a cat will be in kitty heaven rolling around in the blanket. So yeah, it works..if your cats like catnip! Will be buying again!
