This worked great. Made it super simple to find the intake leak on my Audi. I like that it comes with a little bottle to put the oil in so you can make it easy to pour into the machine. The only thing I would change is I would add a switch for the power. As soon as you hook it up to the battery, it runs non stop. All you can do is turn the smoke on or off.

My husband needed this smoke machine to detect a leak in my mom's car.He suspected the leak was coming from the gas cap but he had changed it twice already so he wasn't sure.As it turns out, it was the gas cap. Again.So I asked him how he tested for the leak and where he put the hose in order to locate the leak. He can't remember the part he inserted the hose into. (In his defense, he has cancer so he's a little foggy right now and can't really give me much to go on here).He said the machine worked really well and it made his job easier.He had been wanting a smoke machine for a while and it just so happened that is showed up on my Amazon Vine feed.He is very happy with this machine and said it's well worth the price.At the time of ordering, the smoke machine was listed at $135. He said that's a good price because they are usually more expensive.He is very happy with this machine as well as the result. He does recommend to others.

Ordered this smoke machine to track down a leak in a pneumatic braking system. I volunteer at a 7.5 gauge train ride for adults and kids, after doing a couple of runs I realized the brakes were starting to fail. First we tried to find the leak with the good ole water bottle and soap trick, where you spray soapy water on the air lines and look for bubbles. There are a lot of air lines and testing all of the lines did seem to yield any results. So I ordered this smoke machine, picked up some mineral oil from the local pharmacy store and went to town. This smoke machine was able to quickly identify where air was leaking out of the system and causing the brakes to fail. This smoke machine is very easy to use and comes with a variety of accessories for different types of leak detection.Overall, a fantastic tool for finding leaks.
