I bought a new wool rug that had a musty smell. I sprinkled a ton of Smelleze powder on it and let it sit overnight. Unfortunately, it was too much for my vacuum. I broke 2 vacuums trying to clean it up. And it stained the carpet. This is probably fine if you have a small area and beige carpet. The rug still smelled after but not as bad.

I’m not sure if the product helped killed odor or not cause it didn’t have no fragrance smell to it and I did still use the stuff on my carpets then vacuum it later. So it may be hit or miss depending on the person smell or the home use. Mines was for helping with 2 cats in house

I bought this thinking it would help with the wet doggie smell in my carpets but I don’t find it made any difference in neutralizing or cleaning the air.

Made my light grey carpet look a little dirty, but I machine washed it and it was fine. I finally got rid of the dirty sock smell off of my new carpet ( I have a hypoallergenic dog). Also got an air purifier. Both worked like a charm. Finally no unpleasant odors in the bedroom 👍

I have multiple animals and rescues, accidents are expected. We just replaced our carpet when my husky got sick and started to lose her bladder. My brand new carpet and my room reeked of old dog urine. I shampooed, but it still stank. I thought why not try this, I've tried everything else. When you can promote dead animal smell elimination, why not. This stuff worked within minutes! Smell gone, not covered GONE! unbelievable. I will tell every animal rescue friend I have. Also used the yard product and it's great too. Best thing ever totally amazing!

The carpet stench was finally eliminated with SMELLEZE. Store-bought carpet cleaners only left a fragrance and within a few hours, the old carpet stench returned. SMELLEZE solved the problem and after a week or two, the carpet is fresh!EXTRA BONUS * SMELLEZE lifted the stain that was the source of the problem. Other carpet cleaners left the stain AND the odor returned after a short time.LOVE FRAGRANCE FREE OPTION * Since the product has to be sprinkled on the carpet before vacuuming, it was great to have a fragrance free powder. The store-bought powders had lots of fragrance that often congested the sinuses. Works on animal smells like wet dog and old cat , musty old basement smell, cooking smells, and is safe for kids and pets. I just used it in a friends musty basement wall- to-wall and the place is odor free. I always get more when I run out.

If you have a HEPA filter type vacuum don't use too much of this. It tends to clog the HEPA filter. I had to replace a couple of HEPA filters! It does help with the smells. I think they could enlarge the particle size though. Or not. HEPA filters are expensive! Just saying. I could be wrong.

This stuff seems to work on the closed in animal odors in the trailer we purchased. One application left for 3 days made a positive difference and we have enough for a second application.
