I really need to be organized. The expanding file helps me to do this by being divided into months. I put all the paid bills there. That way, I know what was paid, when and how much. There is also room for me to add folders for specific categories, such as charitable donations, medical expenses, all of these categories to help with taxes (if only they would change the tax requirements and benefits).

items is as described, its made of a composite type cardboard. which is thin but also durable. all the corners and areas where it might wear have some protection. the item expands quite large and can hold a lot of documents. legal size is good for almost any size of printed paper you might to keep together.
