These are used for files that stay on the shelf with side tabs letters. They hold a interior file that is constantly being taken on and off. They hold up beautifully. I have been using them for years and will continue for hopefully, many more years.

This is a fantastic product and helps our office stay organized, but when I order a box of these folders, the box the folders are in, starts to immediately fall apart. I must tape the seams of the box to hold it together. I have been buying this product for decades. The product IS worth the $.

I got these to use as working files for school paperwork that comes in during the year which means they get pulled off the shelf a lot. They are a great weight for that purpose, and the reinforced tab is pretty sturdy and isn't easily bent when grabbing to pull off the shelf. Very happy with them.
