So many of us use single ply folders, or pocket folders, or whatever to hold our real estate documents. Using these folders allow me to hold several offers, with a section for failed offers, a section for active offers, a section for client info/flow charts, and listings. Would never go back to another approach. They're sturdy and easy to file!

Use these folders for the payroll of my company, and they work great. Very sturdy. Usually with normal folder clasps, I'm worried that the more they're opened, the easier they will break off. Not worried about that with these. The clasps are very durable. Folder structure is solid as well.

These classification folders work perfectly for Driver Qualification Files as required by DOT regulation 391.51. As professional DOT consultants, we recommend that our clients use these. The quality of these files lends itself to years of use. The price on Amazon is much cheaper than trying to buy these at Office Supply Stores. Try these out. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Smead and Amazon Rock !!

I was quite hesitant at first in investing quite the amount JUST for folders, but this was well worth the purchase. Upon taking one of these folders out from the box, I was not disappointed at all. They're a whole lot more durable than I had originally intended. I was also very skeptical of the safe shield fasteners, as they feel extremely comfortable with its soft coating and protection. Unfortunately I didn't invest in the appropriate hole puncher, but once I do, these folders will be put to great use. I do, however, plan to see if my local office supply store has these kinds of folders and materials available as well because I'm absolutely in love with them!

TL;DR: I love these Smead folders and I will not be buying ACCO again.I used these folders at an old job for years. They lasted forever and seldom needed to be replaced. Now that I own my own business I decided to splurge on these folders. I purchased these along with the ACCO 15024 folders and the Smead folders are by far better quality. Everything from the pressboard to the metal prongs are higher quality. The ACCOs are okay but the pressboard is much more flimsy and the metal prongs lack the protective covering Smead offers. I'm willing to pay $5/folder to know my charts are secure and well organized.

I use these for work and for personal filing. I especially like the safe shield fasteners because it's smooth and does not cut like the other fasteners sometimes do. These folders are not quite as thick as the others I've had, but it's still thicker than most and very durable. With this is mind, it cuts back on storage space somewhat. Despite the thickness, I will re-order these because I do like the quality and I really am fond of safe shield.
