I would have normally gotten staples branded stuff but they were out. These were cheaper and the grain structures in the paper is tighter. These are impossible to tear. One word BEEFY

At the Pentagon we had so many of these lying around that (insert clever ending to this sentence here). So I was bemused that once I had my own vintage tanker-desk, I actually needed to buy them. Prior to that moment I've never really thought of them subjectively.I had some nostalgic feel for them. I used my 1948 typewriter to make labels, which the folders come with, because of course I did. I remember as a child in the 1970's visiting my mother's office and seeing these exact folders in her desk.I'm also struck by the longevity. These are seemingly eternal. I remember cleaining out old defense department files for purging (nothing exciting... mostly technical specs for old navigation systems) and noting that once the contents were removed, the files were still perfectly serviceable. The only difference was that the pre1970's files tended to be brown instead of green.The files CAN fit in any drawer that's deep and wide enough as long as you also buy the hanging file rack. Smead makes one that's less than $10 for a pack of two. It's most likely going to be right size for you, but I had to measure mine to make sure everything fit.Once you install these in a cabinet or drawer, it's a surprisingly satisfying way to organize.JHA

At last! A supplier that accurately describes their product! These hanging files are letter size (for UK buyers that is big enough to take A4 paper but 1.5cm narrower than UK A4 hanging files). The pack includes plastic description tags that fit in slots in the back of each hanging file with card cutouts to insert in the tags. Excellent.

Perfect size for my documents and fits exactly in my standard letter size filing cabinets! 👍I've bought paper folders before and I was worried they'd be flimsy like the previous ones I had (that'd tear under the pressure of 10 pages) 😰. BUT to my surprise, they'd nice and thick! 😳 It feels like book cover paper. Just sturdy enough to carry 1cm thick documents per folder.The 📁 folder comes with 25 hanging file folders, 25 plastic tabs and about 30 tear-able white paper label tabs (the extras are great for replacement). I like to use the paper tabs as a white background so I can put cute stickers on my plastic tabs 😊. It makes my boring work/home documents cuter to look at!Will definitely buy more.
