This plate is massive on thickness and build quality! I do wish that it was easier to find terminals that have a 10 to 12 gauge connection but fit a 5/16 bolt. I solved my issue, but you should consider this at the time of ordering.

I purchased a preloaded sub box to add the extra bass to my car... No biggie... until... the installed speaker terminal got hot and started disconnecting itself....one minute things are bumpin.. the next .. nothing.I got this, installed it in line 10 minutes (changed the wire tips) turned it on and no more issues. Its secure and tightly connected....The goal was low maintenance... and this is definitely one way to achieve that.Peace!!!!
