Grand got star student and they encouraged us to take a present up - didn't want to take a toy - so got something that would be a learning experience. She has enjoyed doing the experiments. We have to do them with her as she is only 4 but we have enjoyed it so far. St her age, it does need adult supervision. Great buy.

This is an EXCELLENT product. Very good instructions and build is quite complex. Got it for my 5 year old too difficult for him to assemble but very fun to play with supervision. Amazing for older kids for sure. Bravo !

This item works as advertised. However, it was very difficult to assemble. An older child could do it with assistance. The parts are not easy to remove from the thickest board. There are 3 boards with parts that must be removed. They vary in thickness. Again, they can be removed but it was very difficult on some boards and parts. The directions are good with accompanying pictures. There are many parts so one has to go slow to insure they are assembled as required. Once put together the item worked as advertised, however, the paper planes were difficult to fold and assemble and they did not fly well. The foam missile did fly well and far. It was challenging and took me about 6 hours to build. I chose 10 years of age as a guess for a beginner, and I would also state the child would need assistance with the build. A younger child could possibly build with assistance from an adult. It is not an easy build. Hope that helps.

This was put together by my 8 year old in a few hours. He has found many uses beyond the airplanes and is launching a lot of different things.

I got this for my 5.5 yo kid for Diwali. It took around 2-3 hours to assemble and it was fun building it together. The guide was just like Lego, easy to understand. The previous reviews complain that it's not sturdy enough. But no, if done rightly, it is very sturdy in my opinion. After around a week of my kid launching rockets, the base plate did break and my kid was heart broken. But then what's the best thing about them is the customer service. I went into their website, created a request and I received the damaged and extra parts in around a week without any extra money. Customer service at its best. I will continue buying other kits from them because I trust we will be supported throughout.

NOT IN THE DESCRIPTION .... This is a rubber band shooting game!**The model itself is great, but I'm giving 3 stars for the lack of transparency in product advertising.Body: Lots of pieces, labeled alphanumerically. Not for little kids, but a nice challenge for school-agers.Gun: User-built. Uses rubber bands to shoot flat/round plastic discs.Cards: Decent factoids about a handful of organs (brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidney, stomach, intestine). And four germ cards that I suppose are to be used if you're playing card game style.Overall, a good project for little learners. Bonus points for the opportunity to explain eyeballs when your kid shoots his brother's out.
