The bottom of the bowl cracked where it connects to the base. It did not fall over. Just developed a crack and started leaking. It was outside all year yet only saw snow once so bad weather was not the problem. Tried various kinds of glue with no luck. Still leaks. Paid $250 tax included. I would not pay that again. It does work. Solar panels work fine. Just cracked.

I saw this beautiful, antique brass looking fountain and had to have it. It does lack being able to preserve battery life as the rain-drizzling over the children's umbrella only pours over them if the sun is out. I do wish it would store power for rainy days.But the entire fountain is quite heavy, which is necessary in windy weatger# 24' wide sink for the fountain allows for plenty of pleasure as I get absorbed in the fountain rain pouring down over the children's umbrella.

I really love this fountain. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because the motor burned out in the first week and we had to replace it. Otherwise, it works great and it is really cute!

We've had the birdbath for about a month now and are very happy with it. It was very quick and easy to assemble. It works just as described and I only had to clean it for the first time a few days ago. The only issue is that the finish is eroding a bit into some greenish spots on the legs of the kids and the bench. But this change in the patina does not bother me at all - I think it adds character.We have now had this birdbath for 14 months, used for about 8 months, with it being stored the rest of the time. As I mentioned after only one month, the finish continued to wear off and the lower part of the kids and bench, as well as some parts on the umbrella are now a totally different color. If you zoom in on my photo you will see that those parts are now a light gray. This still does not lower my rating, as I don't mind that it is two colors.I spray out most of the icky water every day or two and take it apart only about once a month to spray out the filter. It's slimy and gross, but works just fine. It did just stop operating a few days ago but I looked up the troubleshooting and I think I need to find a power switch (which I have never noticed) and allow the battery to charge up in the sun. I'm confident that if this does not do the trick, the company will take care of me.

My husband got me this fountain for Mother’s Day. The instructions were fallowed and the water disappeared very quickly and will only go on when the sun is out

This is an incredibly beautiful centerpiece for the raised flower bed we built! I’m just in love with it. The finish is gorgeous and the whole piece lends elegance to our outdoor DIY project. The trickling water is lovely to listen to, and the scene of children reading under an umbrella is just darling. It’s heavy enough to be very sturdy, even in its elevated position and in gusty winds, but not so heavy that it’s difficult to move if needed. It took less than five minutes to assemble and is working perfectly so far, but we’ve only had it a few days. I’ll come back and edit my review if we have any issues.

A lovely fountain... But as many previous reviews, the umbrella top is fragile.No way to get replacement parts..

I ordered this at the beginning of last year. Almost immediately, the top of the umbrella broke off. We were able to fix it with glue (several times), but it was functional. I kept it inside over the winter months, and brought it out again in the spring. The pump worked on and off, even with daily cleanings and full sunlight. Last week, the bottom completely broke through the pedestal it stands on, and leaked water. Against my better judgement, I ordered a replacement fountain. The first arrived last week, damaged. I returned it (it's heavy, BTW), ordered a replacement, which also arrived broken. I think this fountain is really cute, but not anywhere near worth the cost or, frankly, the headaches.
