I used to have a gas stove and now with an electric I forgot how long it takes to cool off! This helps me remember it’s still hot. It also absorbs a good amount of heat so even if it’s hot it doesn’t burn if my kitty accidentally jumps on it. Fits nicely and I love the color. It’s a nice deep purple.

I LOVE this mat. It's awesome for my flat top stove. I like the color of the brown and then it turned to a lighter like red color when it's heated. I like tat I can cook and out this right back on the burning and it gives everyone a visual indicator which burner is still hot if you're not paying attention all the way. It's also great for the kids to see and know as well.Love this product and hopefully it holds up over time.

This worked great. I forgot to put the lock on my stove controls and bumped into them causing one of the burners to turn on. I don't have a large amount of space so I will occasionally put things on the stove top to dry. This changed the instant there was any heat applied. Saved the blender to my Vitamix before it became a melted mess. It is also nice for keeping the glass top clean, especially from little cat paws and just everyday messes.

Functions as described, thick mat, easy to clean, fits perfectly, steak of a deal for the price. ALL OF THESE STOVE MATS SHOULD BE MADE LIKE THIS SO THERE LESS CHANCE KF GETTING HURT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I had gotten this as I was always afraid of breaking the glass top of the stove when placing something hot on it whilst it was cold. This is a DEFINITE must have!! It changes colours to show you where the hot spots are, it’s ribbed so things don’t go sliding all over the place and all I do is roll it back away from any stove eyes that I’m currently using. Once the cover cools down, it goes back to its normal colour. No more placing things over a hot eye and melting them. You know instantly by the colour if the area’s hot or cold. It also helps to give more space for preparing things, when you’re not using your stove. I most definitely am glad I finally got one because it’s one of those things you need but until you get it, you really didn’t know how much it was needed. It’s easy to wash if you spill anything, just remove, wash in the sink shake dry and place back over your stove top.

I have a smaller kitchen countertop than I’d like. And I was always concerned I’d damage the glass stovetop by bashing it with hard pots/pans/bowls. This silicone cover lets me reclaim this space for meal prep.I’m not so sure, however, that the color change is all that useful. Looks neat but I think most stovetops these days have built-in lights to indicate which burners are warm. Kinda cool, nonetheless.All in all, I like it.

The Epinovo Heat Sensitive Silicone Stove Top Cover works but significantly increases the time it takes to heat food or boil water. It probably adds at least 50% of the time, which results in unnecessary electricity waste. While useful as a stove top cover, I would not recommend using it for cooking.
