This product is used to notify caregivers if an ill person is trying to get out of bed. Works wonderfully.

Sates to use 9v battery. Duracell 9v doesn’t fit, it is now stuck in the compartment and the product is completely useless. Did not come with any instructions other than what is printed on the device. Very disappointing, outside return window and now desperately needed for elderly family member.

I had high hopes for this product. My father-in-law is weak from brain cancer but the dementia-like symptoms keep him from realizing that he doesn't have the strength to get out of bed so he tries and falls overnight. Unfortunately this pad was far too sensitive and, while it was positioned under his rear end like the directions indicate, it went off every time he shifted or rolled in bed. It didn't last a whole night on the bed before my mother-in-law got fed up and unplugged it.

We’ve had this product for about a week. So far it works great and has been exactly what we were looking for! My mother is an 82 y/o dementia patient who is a fall risk. The alarm was easy to install and works great when she’s attempting to get out of bed unassisted. It’s VERY loud, which is a good thing, because I can hear it from other parts of the house without even having a baby monitor or anything else present.

We used this for my mother during her final stages of dementia. She kept getting up in the middle of the night but was not steady enough to be up on her own. I read a comment from another that they put it on the floor under a mat because it often went off with shifting movement in bed. This was very true and after one night moved it to the floor. It is also VERY loud. To remedy this situation, we put the device that gets pressed to cut off the sound inside the box it came in. We then shoved some rags in the box and taped it closed. When cutting it off, we just pressed on the box until the sound stopped. Problem solved.
