I like it. I have a blue-ray player on my computer. I needed dvd's. I had my ASUS comuter with a dvd player. I had an ASUS disk that was terrible. After I extracted the contents from the bad disk, they I put in on this new DVD blank disk. I made 4 copies. A+

Smartbuy's 4.7gb/120min 16x DVD-R discs may seem like a budget-friendly option, but their questionable quality and durability raise serious concerns for your data. The Thinness ProblemThe most glaring issue with these discs is their extreme thinness. Compared to reputable brands like Verbatim, these discs feel flimsy and cheap. This thinness can lead to:Increased susceptibility to damage: Thinner discs are more prone to scratches, warping, and breakage, potentially rendering your data inaccessible.Higher rates of data corruption: Numerous users have reported significant data loss and corruption issues with these discs, jeopardizing the integrity of your precious files.Questionable Quality and ReliabilityThe overall "cheap" feel of these discs suggests the use of inferior materials and manufacturing processes. This could further compromise their performance and lifespan.A Word of CautionWhile the low price may be tempting, it's crucial to prioritize the safety and longevity of your data. Investing in a reputable brand like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden will ensure that your valuable information is protected. Don't risk losing irreplaceable memories or important documents by opting for a cheap, unreliable alternative.

I make my own Dvd's and cd's. I've purchased some with and without imprint stop the disc. I've never had a noticable problem with print or sound quality. Holds movies over designated size. A must have for those who burn!

I almost never experience a bad blank with these dvd-r discs, and I have used literally hundreds of them. I am a photographer and I use them mostly for photo and home-video storage. They are super reliable and produce professional-quality results. Why pay more for another brand that would provide the same results?

We have several church members who cannot make it to church on Sunday or see the service online. I provide them a DVD with the entire service on it and a title print on the front with the pastor graphic for the service. Works great on my Apple DVD writer and connected to my new MacBook Pro.

They are really nice to write on and work fine. The only minor thing I have was that they were not in a solid container with a bottom. You took off the shipping wrapping and it falls apart. With a little help with some tape, it is working. So, storing them was a little more challenging. Otherwise they are great!

I bought these with the intention of using them to do some vhs to dvd transfers. The disks are great for the price, but unfortunately for me, my sony dvd/vhs unit won't record to these disks. They do work fine in my computers and I'm not certain it's the disks that are the problem with my sony unit, though it claims dvd-r are fine for use. I give them a 5 star rating for the simple fact that they do work as intended and are just as good as the memorex I normally use.
