Unboxed this rig, couldn't find a screw that would fit the hinge of the top bracket. Having to return this item. Otherwise, the build quality looks good.

Ces la première foi que je tien mon cell de cette façon et je ne trouve pas que je suis très stable. Je présume que je vais m'habituer et gagner de la stabilité. Mais j'aime ce produit pour sa solidité et sa simplicité.

Heavier than something you'll just carry around, but that's a plus for serious video work without having to use a gimbal, it works well. (I'm using the Cinema P3 iPhone app with the "Cinema 2" stabilization setting.) One question I had: does the opening for the USB-C port (iPhone 15 Pro Max) add too much thickness to accommodate most devices or cables? No, it adds only minimal thickness, so most right-angle or U-shaped adapters for attaching an SSD work fine. By the way, the cold shoe mount doesn't offer its own spring-loaded resistance, so any device that doesn't have a thumb screw to secure it will slip out. All in all, a well-designed and -built unit.

This is a great rig for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but the VND filter that comes with the kit only works for 1x and up. Beware: if trying to shoot in a wide angle mode (.5 setting), you will get dark corners showing in at least one corner of the image. No adjustment can be made to eliminate it. An email to SmallRig resulted in them offering me $15 back for the inconvenience, and suggested I buy a larger filter. That leaves me with the feeling that a larger filter will not fit the adapter since it's meant for a 52mm filter. I'm still waiting for customer service to reply to my follow-up question, as well as the $15 refund.

First, i was very impressed by the build quality and so far (just a few weeks in) how it works. However,I have almost lost my wireless button around 7 times. Unlike the slide on the other handle, the wireless button slide is very loose so worried about losing it. Also, the side of the cage that opens. Has opened on its own a few times. Which is fun, when you are using the rig in both hands.But as you can see i have a temp solution in place and waiting for smallrig to get back to me.Also I do know i could return it, but it works so well (and would hate to see something else on the garbage pit) and other then the button (the cage could have been user error), this is a great product I would highly recommend it. By the way i also picked up the universal cage, so i could use another phone (since it was cheap on a holiday deal)Stay safe and remember ""Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."

Sinceramente esta edición con brando Le es una chimba!el color, los detalles, es muy bien alcanzado como soporte para el iPhone! su sistema es bastante sencillo y adicional la lente ND que trae ayuda bastante bien!Claro no es del todooo profesional para colocarle las lentes debidas y por haber en el mercado, pero para un iniciante y medio profeta está bien!Lo mega recomiendo, a Colombia llegó en 1 semana 🇨🇴

Although I think the cage is very sturdy and can accommodate a number of additional attachments such as an SSD and multi port USB-c, as well as a receiver for audio. It was a bit of a disappointment to not be able to plug a battery into the multi-USB-C attachment in order to just have one plug in, but even though the portable battery could plug into the phone and charge it, it would mean disconnecting any other devices. Having stated that, I've not seen a cage/phone item that has made it possible to have a very stable shoot, either on a C stand or handheld, although I do think the two handles that came with the order, can have a tendency to slip out of the grooves. But I definitely think it was worth the purchase especially for solo shooters and small budget outfits.
