Gotta place one leg out front, of course, but will hold up a (moderately) long zoom. I like it for close up with with a macro.

I was looking around for a table top tripos and decided on smallrig, since I've gotten other things from them. This unit is very sturdy, well made, lots of metal, metal ball head, very versatile, everything you would expect from smallrig. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Sturdy and good size for how small it is. Great for passive shoots where you have to hike in. Ive even gotten serious and put a big manfrotto fluid head on it and it worked like a dream. Pairs well with a small fluid head if you want to go that direction. Great item

I'm using this with a Nikon Zf and converted vintage lenses. My setups end up being pretty heavy and I didn't want to trust my camera to a flimsy compact tripod. This works great, it's very stable and flexible enough to use for almost all of my tripod needs. It did not replace my heavy fullsize tripod, but it is small enough to hang from my camera bag and always have with me. It isn't the lightest option but it is sturdy and seems well made.

Fisicamente, me gusto su peso y tamaño compacto, ya que es de la altura de un S23 ultra. Se siente firme y cumple su objetivo. El mio en particular, es documentar mis partidos de Padel, y por eso no necesito que el tripie sea alto para poder ver a "nivel de piso" los golpes que se hacen durante un partido, pero sobretodo, poder guardarlo en mi maleta de padel.Ahora, un detalle para los que andan indecisos entre comprar este tripode o un selfie stick tripode: el selfie stick puede extenderse mas PERO para poder ponerlo, tiene que haber un piso parejo para extender las patas del selfie stick, y lo que he notado que en algunas canchas de padel, atras del vidrio, no tiene piso parejo, o a veces es un pedazo de piso plano y termina mas abajo con piedras o tierra, y aqui es donde el poder extender las patas de manera individual favorecen al SmallRig. Para el video, utilizo una camarita steren 4k que uso de dashcam (que dura 85 mins la pila) y cumple con mostrarme los golpes, movimientos y posiciones de los jugadores: no necesito verle la cara a los jugadores del fondo. Quizas, un cambio de camara podria ser insta360 ace pro, pero por lo pronto la steren 4k cumple.Ahora, porque 4 de calificacion?... por su sistema de seguro de las patas. Es la parte que se siente menos fuerte del tripie, porque cuando quito el seguro para extender la pata, a veces la pata no extiende por completo y hay que darle otro giro para liberar la pata, y no se si estoy al limite de la rosca del seguro.Aun asi, estoy muy contencto con el SmallRig y planeo cuidarlo mucho ya que su portabilidad es lo que me satisface mas. Esta por llegarme una bolsa para guardarlo y que no ande golpeandose dentro de la maleta de padel.

This tripod feels very sturdy and seems like it will last me forever. Holds an a6400 with a cage, mic, and lights very securely. Know what you are buying: It is small and lacks a lot of functions other tripods have, but it is extremely portable and easy to use.

This little tripod is fantastic as a full-time professional photographer. I have lots of tripods. This is my favorite travel tripod. It's small, rigid, very secure easily will handle a Z8 or a Z9 with a medium length lens very stable. I also use it for holding my laser levels while doing my home remodel.
