We had a fire in our oven on Thanksgiving. My husband threw out the fire extinguisher because it had expired. My son had to get the extinguisher from his car. I don’t plan on being without ever again.

These are pretty small units so you won't be able to put out a big fire but you'll be able to make the difference. Get yourself enough time to get out.Every kitchen should have one of these and a fire blanket.They're small enough to be discrete. I have one in each bedroom, the kitchen, and the garage. I've sat down with the family and reviewed the function, had each of them actually pull out the clip, and get them used to it. And repeated about a dozen times "pull the pin - spray the base".Need to make sure the family is safe.

These extinguishers were bought to be used in areas where small children were playing. These are very simple to use and it was easy to train my entire staff on them in a single afternoon.These extinguishers have a nice slim profile that makes mounting simple and unobtrusive. The actuators are intuitive and mechanically do not require a lot of strength or dexterity.
Great product, plan on buying again.

Haven’t had to use these on an actual fire…. thankfully… but it makes me feel better having them around in our various vehicles and in the camper. I also keep in garages and at top of the stairs where our bedrooms are located. We have larger ones in kitchen but these are great for peace of mind at home or when traveling . I have had two house fires in my lifetime and these are an affordable option to cover lots of locations for a quick go to in case of emergency. Easy for my teenagers to use also if needed.

Edit: I was eventually able to contact the seller after many attempts through Amazon bots. Seller offered a replacement or refund. I took the refund as I still don't trust the item, but I am impressed with how they handled the situation.I ordered these fire extinguishers and have had just over 2 months. Looked at one last week and it was foaming and leaking around the neck. Not sure how effective this would be during a fire and I'm not willing to trust it now. And don't believe the verbage about a warranty on the item in the description. I've contacted the manufacturer of the item (and had to hunt around to find their contact info as amazon does not provide a means to contact seller or manufacturer after 30 days) with absolutely zero response from them. Would love to have a refund for these, but don't think that's going to happen.

Easy install with the bracket. However, my mistake was placing the bracket side ways. The extinguisher would fall off with hard turns. I used a rubber band instead to secure it on the bracket. I’m glad this came in a 2 pack since one of the bottles did leak when it arrived in the mail. I’m not sure if it’s still good to use but oh well. I got what I got with the price it was.

So, short story, on my lawn tractor beside house in the woods dumping cut grass...lots of dry leaves and it was dry out. The exhaust of tractor caught the leaves on fire. (Been dumping this way for 10 years never an issue. Well it was this day!!! I immediately ran in house grabbed this extinguisher from kitchen and ran back to put out fire. Thankful to say, it did the trick and in the nick of time. Would have been a 911 call next. NO BETTER feeling than NEEDING an extinguisher and having it WORK and work WELL!!! NOW, I have one of these mounted to the tractor. Should have always had on on there. just on case !!Also, bought more for Jeep , back garage, front garage and upstairs as well as replaced kitchen. When you NEED them , you'd pay ANYTHING for them in that moment !!!!
