The first offering, my two bunnies didn't seem interested, sniffed and hopped away, but after sprinkling some in their hay dish, they realized how tasty these are (they told me), love the crunch and the giddiness that comes when they forage and find them.

My guinea pigs always liked pea flakes but she loves the ones from pet stores. I tried this brand out because it has a great amount in it. Pet stores will sell you pea flakes for the same price but with smaller amount. It’s a good product but I do think it’s a little dry and less flavored.

These are our guinea pigs’ favorite treats. The bottom of the bag does until up with a lot of pretty small pieces but the pigs enjoy them either way. Great for bite size rewards for training, and just for fun. Because the pigs deserve it, of course!

The price seemed a bit high, but the quality made it quite a decent value. These are actually quite tasty. One of my rats is overweight and this was a great alternative to many other treat options. I had one rat turn her nose up to these, and 8 other rats who at least nibbled them. 5 of those ladies devoured or hoarded them with glee. These are rated human safe, so I nibbled them too, and they really taste strongly of fresh peas.I did find something that wasn't from a pea in the bag, but it appeared to be a dried flower or similar organic item that was easy to remove and was probably edible. Even with all my foster rats getting good nibbles daily, one bag lasted 2 weeks or so. I imagine with two to four rats one bag might last a month or longer, depending how you use these. I used smaller bits as rewards and bigger amounts to add variety and vegetable matter into rattie diets.I'm always looking for healthy and safe snack and food alternatives for rats, especially things that I can easy fit into toys for foraging, use during training time, or to help reduce the size of unhealthily overweight rats while not denying them too much(these are rescues). This snack managed to hit all those goals.
