It's an artistically good design but unfortunately it lets too much light through the cut-outs. It would work better if there was a internal opaque liner (hint to the designers). P

This really is for a small lamp. Be sure to check the size of the lamp you need a shade for. This is a beautiful green shade that was easy to put on my vintage lamp. Enough light shines through it to light the room, without having a blinding bulb irritating you. It is not sheer. It seems to be of good quality, though I have only been using it for a few weeks, so I don't know if the fabric will hold up over time.

This lampshade does not have the usual attachment that allows you to attach it to a lamp. Instead you can only balance it on top of the light bulb, so if it slips and touches the bulb, it melts

Fits bulbs well, and if you don't have space for a larger shade or just prefer a smaller one, this works nicely. The copper inside also makes a warmer glow.

I am so happy we came across this lamp shade. It is very sturdy as it is metal. It is beautiful to look at and puts a very unique pattern on the wall. It arrived very quickly and my husband put a new harp on the lamp and this went on in the blink of an eye. I know we will enjoy this for many years to come. There are various shapes and sized to chose from. I wish I had more lamps that could use a shade like this one. Great price also. Other sellers had it for a considerable amount more. Don't think twice if you are interested in this shade. It is well worth the money and I can not say enough about how much we love it. Very different and unique. Love it.
