The base is nice and substantial, but there is very thin glass in the top half of the glass. It's likely to break very quickly, even just in the dishwasher. Sending back in order to buy something higher in quality.You can get much higher quality glasses in high end stores for a lower price. I know this because I researched after I bought these. I think all the glasses like this on amazon are way overpriced. Oh well, now I know!

Great size and very nice quality for the price. My husband wanted a smaller sized snifter, not needing anything over 10 oz. This was a Christmas present and he was thrilled. I personally was most impressed with how well it was packaged. Would definitely purchase from them again.
