If your looking for a small trashcan that can fit on the side of the bed or in some other tight area your on the right track looking at this slim model, but there are probably better options out there. Not that this isnt one of them, just depends on your needs.The lid is push button to open. This is for animals. My cat figured it out pretty quick. Just knocks it over. I did that with a can of tuna inside though. Wanted to see if it was pet proof. I'd say sort of. There still is that tricky button. Cat tips it hard enough & the top just comes off anyway. Making the button mute. For what I use its intended use is none of the animals bother with it. Its too small to through away food scraps. I suppose you could though.It is easy to use, easy to clean and seems to work fine. The button hasnt failed me yet. Looks good overall with the slim design. The button has a rainbow sticker around it for some reason... throws it off a little. Came with its own bags that fit well. I'm not sure if I'll be able to replace them. Going back to what I originally said: I think there might be better products out there considering the price.

This was a bit smaller than what I was thinking but it is so cute!! I love that the button you press to open it is a rainbow! It also came with a roll of bags and it fits great between my couch and side table!!

This trash can is excellent. It has a door on top that is easy to open at just a slight press. Just the right size for under the sink or by the toilet. As a bonus it even comes with a roll of trash bags included which was a nice touch. No complaints here for a simple easy to use trash can.

The basket is clean/neat looking. It seems to work well...I think it's silly to have black bags when the basket is white. If you do not want the black to show, tug lightly from the inside (when bag is in place) to hide under the basket top. It will suit my needs perfectly as I choose not to add wound care discard to normal bathroom waste basket. I think this is a good product for my needs.

I ordered this trash bin for our RV bathroom. It fits really nicely and neatly in the small space that we have. I wanted something that’ll protect our trash from snooping toddlers and scheming pups, and this works perfectly. It’s easy to use, just a quick press of the lid and it opens up, and closes with ease. The company was kind enough to send a large roll of trash bags for the bin, and a replacement latch should the current one fail. It opens quietly, protects our trash from the dog and kiddo, looks neat, and works perfectly. I absolutely can recommend this little trash bin!

I just got this yesterday so I can't speak to durability over time, but I don't see anything that might wear out or become defective.It's really cute and the lid operates as it should, opening with just a simple push on the "button" (it's not an actual button, but marks the spot to push). It's a quality build, and I like the clean look of the smooth plastic material. However, it definitely attracts pet and people hair, which then sticks to it, so I sprayed it lightly with Static Guard and the problem was resolved.It's small, less than 3 gallons, so consider your needs before purchasing. That said, it's exactly what I need in my bathroom and I'm happy I bought it. A roll of liners is included, and while I don't see where to order more, I think any 3 gallon size bags will fit.I'd actually like to give 4.5 stars because of the static issue, but since I can't, I'm giving 5 because after using ant-static spray, I don't think it's problematic enough to dock a full star. I've actually ordered another one to use in my bedroom.I recommend this for small spaces. Its simplicity and clean look allows it to blend in almost anywhere.

I ordered this for use in my crafter's booth at Fleamasters in Ft. Myers, Florida. During the day--especially after my lunch--I usually have a few wrappers and such to dispose of. The large trash can that used to be in the aisle close to my booth has been moved far away, and using it would require leaving my booth unattended, so I wanted something for use in my booth in which I could accumulate the day's trash to dispose of at the end of the day. This trash can fits the bill perfectly.I admit to being confused at first about the two "bag holes" near the top of the can. Then I watched the video, in which the use of those holes was shown. I'm still confused. I simply fold the top of the bag over the top of the can, and then place on the lid. Works just fine.I also did not understand why there was an extra gadget (they call it the "buckle") included, but it turns out that its the same part as the one already installed in the lid. It's what keeps the lid closed and then releases it for the springs to open it up when you press the dot on the lid. It also retains the lid in the down position when you close it back down. I suppose the extra gadget is simply a spare, in case the pre-installed one breaks. I therefore carefully labeled it and put it in an obvious location, so that if and when the catch does break, I'll remember that I have a spare somewhere but won't remember where I put it. That's not the manufacturer's fault; and I'm glad to have the spare. Having said that, I think now I'll simply tape the spare part on the bottom of the lid.For my purposes, this is a functional and attractive product.
