I got this Small Animal Cage Deodorizer Spray for my bunny and hamster. These isn’t a scent and doesn’t have any bad smell to it. I used it when I am cleaning their cage and spray it before I put their bedding and litter in it. This spray out mist form and it dry out after few minutes. I spray it consistently throughout the cage to keep the smell out. I always spray it on top of their pee and poo to cover the smell. This needs to be use as needed. It’s not like, you spray it one time and will last for few days. So for this small bottle it doesn’t last long for me. However it’s good to have for the summer since the smell gets stronger.

Okay so I’m torn. Sometimes it seems to work and sometimes it seems to do nothing. I’ve been testing it for about a month now, and sometimes I can really tell a difference and sometimes the only difference is that it’s wet.

Meine Schwester hat Kaninchen. Die leben in einem Stall in der Wohnung und natürlich riecht das nicht immer gut! Ergo griff ich bei diesem Spray zu.Generell muss man bei diesem Spray vorsichtig sein. Einerseits muss man Uringeruch entfernen, andererseits darf man nicht den Geruch desTiers komplett eliminieren, da Kleintiere ihren Geruch brauchen, um sich heimisch zu fühlen. Man darf also nicht wild alles besprühen, sonst fühlt sich das Tier unwohl.Das Spray selbst ist neutral im Geruch. Das ist gut, denn es übertüncht nicht einfach den üblen Geruch, sondern nimmt ihn auf und bindet ihn. Sonst geht es einem wie der Familie von Fritzchen. Denn Fritzchen, ein Baby, legt einen Haufen in ins Wohnzimmer – und das Kurz, bevor Besuch kommt. Mutter entfernt den Haufen und sprüht Tannenduft.Als der Besuch kommt, schnüffelt dieser und meint: „Hier riecht es, als habe jemand in den Wald gemacht!“Das klingt humorvoll, ist aber leider häufig der Fall, wenn Geruch nur überdeckt wird. Das passiert hier nicht! Der Geruch wird korrekt gebunden und so sorgt das Spray für Frische.Die Qualität des Sprays ist also gut, hier gibt es keine Klagen. Der Preis ist, und das muss man so sagen, relativ hoch. Da man jedoch sehr sparsam dosieren sollte, hält die Flasche etliche Reinigungsvorgänge und so relativiert sich dies. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt gerade noch!Fazit: gut für die Reinigung von Käfigen, wenn sparsam dosiert. Daher 5 von 5 Sterne.

Habe den Geruchs-Neutralisierer bei unserer Katzentoilette ausprobiert. Die ist zwar kein Nager Käfig, aber riecht auch immer sehr unangenehm, was natürlich ist. Zuerst habe ich sie mit der Klumpschaufel gereinigt und das restliche Einstreu an die Seite geschoben. Danach das freigelegte Kunststoff wenig eingesprüht und trocknen lassen. Anschließend wieder Streu drauf gemacht. Sie riecht anschließend so, als ob man das komplette Streu ausgewechselt hat. Es geht aber auch zwischendurch, wenn man es auf das Streu draufsprüht. Ich weiß nicht wie und warum es funktioniert, klappt aber super. Für jeden Tierhalter zu empfehlen, auch wenn es nicht ganz billig ist.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------🔹Meine Erfahrung damit: 🔹Als kleines Vorwort, bei einem Spray in dieser Preisklasse (20-25€) habe ich mir einfach nochmals etwas mehr erwartet, so einen richtigen gamechanger.Das Spray lässt sich sieht gut dosieren, wir haben 4 Meerschweinchen die aktuell im Spielezimmer der Kinder untergebracht sind. Jeder der Kleintiere hat kennt den Geruch, der sich auch gerne nach dem sauber machen des Käfigs immer noch hartnäckig hält.Das Spray ist definitiv eine Verbesserung des Zustandes aber mehr auch nicht. Ich finde es auch etwas schwer die richtige Dosierung zu finden, einerseits denkt man viel hilft viel, andererseits hat man den schon heftigen Preis von über 20€ im Kopf.Es ist absolut geruchlos, ich zumindest kann nichts wahrnehmen, der sprühnebel ist sehr fein.🏁Fazit:Ein Spray, das Besserung beim Geruch bringt aber irgendwie habe ich mich bei diesem Preis nochmals mehr erwartet, vielleicht waren meine Erwartungen auch einfach zu hoch. I got this small animal cage deodorizer because my bunnies’s litter pan area is quite smelly… especially after two days (if I’m being lazy and not changing on a daily pace). I was looking for a product that’s 100% safe and scent less for my little bun buns while it works… and when I saw this product, I decided to give it a try - So far so work (good)! 😊The spray came in a nice package, on the box it has expiration date indicated (which is very nice), and came with an instruction/explanation manual. The spray bottle has a specific design, which easy to identify among all the cleaning products. One thing I love about this spray is completely scentless, and when you spray out the bottle … the liquid becomes a light weighted mist spraying out in a small angle. I have been using it sometimes now right after cage cleaning, and so far works great (much much much less urine smells compared to before).I love this spray as it is 100% safe for my bunnies, and it works. I do recommend to all bunny owners. 😊👍

We have 2 hamsters for our daughters, each in its cage in a different room. The cages are cleaned once and week. For the first 3-4 days post-clean there is not much of a scent, but closer to the 7th and onwards, the scent becomes more noticeable (as one would expect). The deodorizer comes in a decent size and has a sturdy nozzle to give a good spray. No leakage or drippage from the bottle either. It's also no bigger than your typical cleaning products so storage isn't much of an issue.We clean out the cage as usual and once it's ready to refill bedding, we give the bottoms a spray, focusing on the corners where they do their business. It goes on nicely and evenly. It says to let dry and ventilate. When it goes on, it doesn't look like anything is on it so I try to give it 5-10 minutes to make sure it's good. Then refill the cage and so far, we've been through 3 cage cleanings and 3 odor sprays. It makes a bit of a difference, and kind of neutralizes the scent. It's less pungent when cleaning it out so that's good!I cannot smell anything but I'm positive my one hamster does, she sniffs and sniffs before settling down. Maybe they can smell it or sense it? Not sure, just an observation. She could have been sniffing for treats too who knows for sure? To the human nose, you can't tell.For Hamsters, it works great and I have no issues with continuing to use it. I can't speak for other animals that naturally stink more (like guinea pigs) and how much of a difference it makes. It's worth a shot! It won't make it smell more! Overall, I'm happy with this product and recommend it, especially if you live with someone who can be smell-sensitive or just prefer not smelling animals. It's a win!

I used this product as directed when I last cleaned our Guinea pig cage. I change the bedding regularly and know when it starts to smell a bit funky before the clean and change. It’s about that time….but the unpleasant odor is noticeably absent!! The spray itself is a mist and doesn’t have a fragrance smell but rather a very light scent. I questioned it would do any good because the scent was almost not perceptible, however I can tell a difference a week on! I will continue to use this product when cleaning and changing bedding for our little buddies! Would recommend 100%

I got this for my guinea pig cages (I have 4 separate cages currently) and it works AWESOME!! I use fleece liners in my cages and typically have to clean the cages 2-3 times per week due to the ammonia smell in the urine. With this deodorizer I now only have to clean the cages once a week! Even then the pee smell is very light which is a huge difference compared to what it was before I started using the deodorizer.It is important to follow the directions if you want the deodorizer to work. It says to clean the cage thoroughly beforehand, then apply the deodorizer and let it dry. That’s what I’ve been doing and it really and truly works. Before I started using the deodorizer the pee smell was strong in the room my guinea pigs are in, even with cleaning the cages 2-3 times per week. Now there isn’t a pee smell even after a week!This deodorizer doesn’t work well on already pee-soaked items though, in my opinion. I tried it on one corner of a wooden hide that smelled like pee. The deodorizer did remove the pee smell to a certain extent but didn’t completely remove it. This deodorizer is definitely better at PREVENTING odors than neutralizing them, in my opinion.I will definitely be purchasing more of this deodorizer as it’s saving me a lot of time and laundry! I highly recommend it!

I was excited to try this product to eliminate odor from a hamster cage we have. The description sounded as if this would neutralize odors in the cage, but it did not work for me. The waste odors are strong, and this was not effective in removing the odors. I do like the fact that it is safe for pets and their beddings. I was still apprehensive about spraying while my pet was in its cage (I removed my pet to spray), but you are supposed to be able to do this without harm.
