I bought 2 of these to cover a large 30 amp cord and a water hose connection between our travel trailer and our house. The channel under these is large enough to accommodate both. I found it works better to zip tie the two together in a few places, to ensure that they stay in the channel. The covers work well, but don't always lay completely flat. That may just be a shipping issue that will resolve as they lay there for a few days, so no real negative there. These are a hard plastic, not a rubberized material. The only negative I found is at the connection point between two of them. They do come with attached connecting tabs, essentially creating a dovetail joint. The joint is not tight, and there is a lot of movement between the two after they are connected. The joint created probably has 1/4"-3/8" of play. I solved this by turning them over and pulling the joint together with duct tape. That seems to have solved the issue for now, although duct tape will not last forever. When it wears out or gets wet, I will probably replace it with Gorilla Tape to make it a semi-permanent, waterproof connection. Those things being said, these were the ones that actually had a large enough channel to fit my purposes.

I bought this to cover the extension cords to my Christmas lights. Perfect width for my walkway. I didn't use the adhesion. I just put the cover over the cords. Since it reached my flower beds and grass, I was able to just put garden stakes in the ground at each end to hold in place. Looks so much cleaner than tape. At the end of the season I just pulled them up and have them to use again next year.

I purchased a new to me house and with that came a basement that is unfinished, with a furnace drain line ran across the floor to the sump pump. I used theses to cover the line and keep anyone from tripping across the hose.It does cover it just fine without inhibiting the drain at all. They are very rigid however, and one is slightly out of shape. They also just slide across the concrete floor. Grippers are needed if you plan to pull a dolly across them. For the price, I can’t complain to much, but they are not what I thought I was getting I expected a softer plastic and to be able to pull a dolly across it without it just sliding.

I used this to cover an unused portion of Christmas lights that ran over my sidewalk rather than buy a second strand of lights / split the one I had and re-wire it. The extra height is perfect for going over the unused bulbs spaces. I don't have to worry about somebody tripping over a chord or stepping and breaking the unused lights. The width is just right for my sidewalk to the house. It would probably be ideal still for me to tape this down on both ends, as it raises up a little on one side - probably owing to my house being on a slight slope. It is a thick plastic and should last as long as needed.

I needed just one of these for a small space to cover speaker wire. It works great. Doesn’t seem to slide too much on the ceramic tile under it. It will slide if you kick it at the right angle because it is so light. It would probably have to be very thick and heavy to not slide.Since I only needed one I did not want the prongs on the end. Fortunately for my purposes, they very easy snapped off when I pushed them with my thumbs. Good for me, but maybe bad for others that need to chain several together. It’s just cheap plastic.

I purchased a single length of this, and set it freestanding in my basement over the condensate drain pipe. This keeps it from getting kicked and knocked off the AC equipment, or kicked away from the floor drain. It has saved me from countless time cleaning up leaks from one or the other happening (which happened about once a week before I bought this). I have rolled some heavy shelves and boxes across this with a dolly. The incline was no problem at all, and this cover showed no signs of wearing/bowing/etc. It also doesn't slide around, even with it not being secured to the floor with anything. It is was definitely cheaper, easier, and faster than putting in a pump and rerouting the line overhead. I would recommend it for anything you are tired of tripping over.

I use this as a power cord cover when my trailer is on shore power, Large enough channel for large power cords, water hoses, air hoses etc. It'll stand up to passenger vehicle traffic, and of course foot traffic.Know what you're getting. This is a molded, hard plastic item. You're not going to bend it. Trimming it would be a waste as it's designed to daisy-chain these covers together. This is very similar to those used in aircraft hangars for protecting air hoses, power and data cables. They are a bit pricey, but what isn't anymore...
