My son accidentally ruined a toilet by dropping a bottle of poo-pori. The bottle size of that product is evil, small enough to clear the bowl, but too big to clear the trap. It lets water by, so a plunger doesn't work. It's medium firm, so a snake doesn't push it through. Anyways short story longer, needed a new toilet, converted to a flushometer. With the water quality in my area, I knew a diaphragm unit would be better than a piston type. The best diaphragm flushometer is a Sloan Royal. For tank type water closets American Standard is the best, but for heavy duty dookie, nothing beats a Royal flushometer and a Kohler camode. After a few years and thousands of meals, toy soldiers, and hot wheels down the drain, not a single issue. It is quite enjoyable not having to wait for a tank to fill up after the curtisy flush. I definitely recommend the upgrade if your piping is adequately size to support one of the best devices available in modern plumbing. Other reviews complain about the noise, It's the fastest flush you can buy, of course it is louder. Some reviews give it low marks because they ordered the wrong version. It doesn't take long to get the right part number from the manufacturer's website. People spend thousands a year on fancy food, the intake is only half the experience, treat yourself on the conclusion of the meal too, you won't regret it.

all of the parts were fine except for the escutcheon. It was broken when it was taken out of the box. Thankfully I had it being installed by a master plumber and he had another one in his truck saving me a return and more down time.

I have bought Sloan commercial flush valves many times more than decades. I bought well known bland flush valves last time. Two of them, I have experienced leaking water, inconsistent flush and even no flush. I have changed Sloan flush valve resulting excellent, no more problems at all. Only problem is packaging. The package cannot stand abused transportation.

Perfect device for my project . Even with teflon tape on the threads of the reducer supplied , tightening has to be real real tight or it has a slight leak . I was almost afraid of stripping it .
