Good stuff stays where you put it and doesn't dry out. I picked this up in my search for the best firearm lube, ultimately I prefer weapon shield as I feel it is slicker and protects the metal better. But with that being said this stuff if pretty good too just not my preferred.

Now, I'm not some Delta operator who has to ensure their weapon will work even during muddy over-the-beach landings in sub-zero temperatures while being ravaged by a sandstorm, but I can say that Slip2000 EWL30 is a pretty nice lubricant. While I used to use Breakfree CLP, I chose this because it's a PTFE-free, 100% synthetic formula, and because its viscosity reduces the risk of it migrating over time. Basically, it stays more or less where you put it, and a little dab goes a long way. As the marketing material says, it doesn't attract dirt, hasn't dried out over the course of several months, and powder fouling easily comes off surfaces treated with EWL30. I can't speak to the rust-inhibiting properties of this lubricant, but the manufacturer's website has a list of the ASTM/MIL-STD tests it has passed.As the title says, a 1-ounce bottle will last for many cleaning and care sessions, unless you're Jerry Miculek or like your guns covered in enough oil to make Saudi Arabia jealous.

Great product, BUT, the leaky cap leaves a lot to be desired. Solution to this problem: buy a Nalgene 2 oz. leakproof bottle (#635402) from www.thecontainerstore.com. The cap from this Nalgene bottle can be placed directly on the EWL bottle, replacing the one that EWL provides; it fits the EWL bottle perfectly, and is 1000% better than the EWL cap: no leaks, plus the little spout on the Nalgene cap allows the lube to be applied precisely where you want it -- not the sloppy mess that results when using the EWL bottle. If the Slip2000 guys read this, they might consider changing the top of their bottles and use the Nalgene design. Worth checking out!

This is Slip 2000's thicker lubricant, designed to be used where grease would be recommended as with M1/M14 roller bearings.I put this on slide rail wear points on pistols as well.

I am a big fan of all the Slip2000 products. I have had great results using them and I appreciate the fact that they are all non-toxic. As someone thta spends a lot of time cleaning weapons I feel better knowing I am not poisoning myself slowly
