This mini sledge hammer is perfect for a weaker woman to use. It can really hammer down spokes in the yard yet it doesn't weigh 100 pounds. Love it.

When first I saw this little hammer I thought if nothing else,it would be a cute paper weight.Then it arrived….what a great little hammer.I spent the next while looking for things to hit.Its well worth having.Every one who comes over,it’s the first thing they pick up…..

I keep it close. I use it for work all the time. I had to show it to a guy that was coming at me in the parking lot at work with bad intentions. Did not say a word. He turned around and walked away. I got one for my wife.

This review is for Sledge Hammer, Mini Sledge Hammer with Steel Hammer Head and Wood Short Handle, 1LB Crack Hammer for Striking & HomeEven with pictures in the listing, I was not prepared for how small this hammer really is. It should still work well for hammering my tent stakes into the ground. Last year, I brought a rubber mallet camping with me, and my friends had destroyed it within minutes while setting up their tents. This steel headed sledge should work better, and hold up well.I put this hammer with my camping equipment, and we will see exactly how well it holds up and does its job this spring/summer when I head out camping. It is well made, so I expect it to perform well. I will update my review if needed when I actually use it what I got it for.

Used a few times. Picked it up and head fell off. If it had been being used, it could have been very dangerous. It is very handy to have a small hammer. I’ll reattach the handle.

As a marine diesel mechanic, we have to carry a lot of stuff in heavy tool bags. You almost always need a hammer but don’t want to carry around a big one all the time but need more power than a small ball peen hammer. It’s perfect to keep in your tool bag.
