  • [ Instruction How to Use (1st Step) ] -To use the Pinard horn for fetal heart monitoring, find a quiet, comfy spot. Insert earpieces tightly, and minimize airflow. Listen to different belly areas, especially below the belly button during the 2nd trimester. Place the horn where the baby's heart is, and add slight pressure for a clear sound. Count heartbeats (120-160 bpm).
  • [ Instruction How to Use (2nd Step) ] - If no heartbeat is heard, DO NOT GIVE UP! Babies tend to move, so try again later. Remember, Detecting very young fetuses is harder; fetoscopes typically aren't strong enough to hear anything until 30-36 weeks gestation, which is about halfway through the second trimester. (Please check DESCRIPTION below for a detailed instruction)
  • [ A Special Notes ] - Remember, a fetoscope is designed to listen to fetal heart tones, so if you're testing it on your heartbeat or another adult's heartbeat it's not going to sound very loud and clear either. It is designed to auscultate fetal heart tones.
  • [ Portability Is The Key ] - The compact and portable design of the Skywin Fetoscope for Baby Heartbeat Detection makes it convenient for parents to carry and use wherever they are, allowing them to share precious moments with loved ones who need to worry about replacing batteries or recharging it
  • [ User Manual and Troubleshooting Tips] - User Manual and Troubleshooting Tips is added in the image section aside from the user manual in the packaging. The User Manual is with step - by -step instructions for effective use. The Troubleshooting Tips is to help customers resolve common issues with the product. This includes advice on positioning, timing, and maintenance to improve the detection of the baby’s heartbeat.

INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO USE Detection is barely as early as 24-30 weeks, but the best chance should be around 30 - 36 weeks to hear the faint tones. Normally undetectable from 0 - 24 weeks. A mother must lie in a comfy and quiet area (do this in a very silent room since the fetal heart tone will be very faint). Ensure the earpieces are placed tightly in your ears, with no outside air moving around the pieces. Listen to all parts of your belly (if you are still in the 2nd trimester or less, it will be most likely under the belly button). Place the Pinard horn where your baby’s heart is and rest your chin/forehead on the device for added pressure. Slight pressure will ensure a clear auditory path. After locating the fetus’ heartbeat, count the beats per minute. It should be between 120-160 bpm. If you don't hear anything, don't give up! Try listening again at a different time, since babies tend to move around, hopefully, one of the movements will place his back closer to the belly so that you can hear the heart. Remember it's harder to hear heart sounds in very young fetuses (fetoscopes typically aren't strong enough to hear anything until 30-36 weeks gestation, which is about halfway through the second trimester). Occasionally you may accidentally be listening to the maternal heartbeat because you're listening to a maternal artery rather than the fetal heart. If unsure (especially if the maternal pulse is quite high) you can double check by feeling for mom's pulse on the wrist - if it matches the heartbeat that you're hearing then it's maternal pulse, not baby, so move the scope to a different location and listen again. IMPORTANT NOTES Skywin Fetoscope for Baby Heartbeat Detection offers an opportunity for heartbeat monitoring, it should not replace any professional medical care. Regular prenatal check-ups and consultations with healthcare providers remain crucial for monitoring the well-being of both the mother and the baby

Ordered this as a gift for my husband because he wanted to hear baby’s heart beat as much as possible. At 5 months pregnant we tried and tried but could not locate heart beat. It may work as baby girl grows and gets bigger, but in early pregnancy I don’t thinks it’s that effective.

I got this product at 4 months and I am now currently 8 months. I still can't hear my baby's heart beat with this thing. Not worth your time or money. If I could rate is with no stars I would.

Such a safer option to listen to your baby’s heartbeat at home versus the Doppler. Not as easy to use and it definitely takes time and patience. You need to be in a super quiet environment and lay down and slowly move the horn around your stomach. Sometimes I find the heartbeat immediately and sometimes it takes awhile! It 100% works, just isn’t the quickest/easiest to use, but there’s no risk at all in using it so it’s a win/win for me :)
