Just installed a 4” Rough Country lift kit in a 1978 F250 with a high pinion Dana 44. With the supplied RC 3” steering arm block spacer, the drag link would bind at suspension full droop while turning right. Bought this drop drag link hoping I could eliminate the cast iron steering arm lift block as advertised in the Amazon listing. No go. This drop drag link would also bind at full droop. Ended up having to use the steering arm lift block and the drop drag link. Now it doesnt bind at full droop and the knuckles will turn lock to lock. Biggest problem on the HP Dana 44 is the draglink mounts in the bottom of the steering arm causing it to bind during suspension cycle. Chevy definitely gets the win here over Ford.

I installed this on a 78 F250 4x4 after a 4" lift. After seperating the old OEM drag link, this drop link dropped right in. There are instructions with it, make sure you read them. It's a little tricky getting everything aligned straight and then tightening the lock nuts. I used Lock-tite on the threads and after 1000 miles it's still holding tight. Tighten the lock-nuts real good, otherwise there will be endplay. This is a well made drop link and it's beefy enough for my 33" tires and front locker. It's greasable for long term wear. I recommend this product.
