My tree stand arrived minus the hardware. I called Muddy and was told there was nothing they could do to help me. I was forced to go to a local hardware store and purchase $50 worth of hardware just to put up my tree stand. I am NOT impressed.

Out of the 25+ stands I own this one ranks dead last. Safety bar sits too close to you, very tough to stand from a sitting position and almost impossible to turn around once your standing. I doubt the person that designed and tested this stand has hunted. The only positive thing is the seat is comfy. If you looking for a stand to sit 100 percent of the time and shoot from one position, this is the stand for you. Not me.

Need ratchet strap for stabilizer bar. Needed welded d rings for ratchet strap around tree also slides around tree.. Flimsy going up and down treestand.

I sought to purchase a Muddy Skybox as i own another one that I have hunted out of 8+ years and I absolutely love it. I settled on this (lesser) Muddy model since the Skybox was out of stock. During assembly, i noticed that the bends in the metal (as pictured just above the ladder) were not identical therefor the entire seat, foot rest, and tree support was not even close to being level with the ladder upright. The packaging, which was unopened, also had several missing pieces of hardware. Thankfully, I had workable replacements on hand to use in place of the missing hardware and I was able to correct the defect with a little hammering/drilling modification. Aside from this, the stand was easy to put together and the quality seemed decent.

While assembling my new extra wide one person ladder stand all seem to fit in place as designed; however when it came to installing the standing platform, (per manufacture's provided instructions ), there is a 7/16 difference in the inside measurement of 18inches,(where the platform is to be located), and the outside measurement of the platform of 18-7/16 inches, which was designed to fit into the 18 inch measurement. IT will not work because of misaligning the ladder connection making it impossible to assemble. This stand is not an easily assembled ordeal to disassemble, pack back up, and transport to a shipping facility. I'll keep it and possible just scrap the whole thing. The last thing its the junk from China. Sorry Muddy I watched a lot of U-Tube Video's on the Muddy ladder stands before buying mine. B.E. Lawson.

Shipping box was torn up pretty bad. Foot rest support brackets were missing. I had to make the brackets to be able to use stand.
