As I no longer play publicly I play my violins and other instruments to backing tracks in my music room and I’m pleased to add the Sky violin to my family of instruments. I noticed the bridge didn’t fit the belly too well so I smoothed it down with very fine sandpaper to a perfect fit. That and a good quality set of strings improved the tone greatly. One complaint I do have however is that the rosin supplied was cracked and fell into several pieces when I tried to use it. Can you send me a new one?

First of all, this violin needs to tune up. if you are the beginner, you better ask your teacher or find someone to tune up before used.violin itself sound very focus, bright and loud, i prefer to play with fast song.bow is comparatively heavy, but acceptable (by comparing the bow on market at the price range between $20 - $30) i prefer buying a light bow separately.string is good for beginner, sound clear and loud, g string is tasty than Daddario ascente. but the whole set not very responsible as thomastik dominant. for the intermediate or performance level, this string set is not a great choice for training and performance.I tried to play this violin with popular brand string set such as Daddario ascente and thomastik dominant, both strings help to turn down the sound to warmer. for the beginner, keep the original string, benefit to play bright, loud and slow song.in conclusion, 5 stars for intermediate level. 3-4 stars for performance level, 4 stars for beginner

Sinceramente no es lo que publican, no trae etiqueta, los acabados feos para el precio, nada que ver con la madera que está en la foto, madera corriente...

The relationship between price and quality of this violin is unbeatable. I purchased it 4 times for intermediate students.

I won't refer to this violin as garbage because the tone is nice, definitely a step up from the beginning violin my daughter played this past year. But the one we received looks like some kind of factory second out of a Chinese violin shop. See the pictures. The inlay has a piece broken out of it and the glue work is just hideous. For reference, the model I received is a Paititi PTTVNOP432 or 4/4 Opus-432If I were doing it all over again, I would have gone with the Ric Bunnel G2 package for a few more dollars. The reviews are stellar and it comes with fine tuners on all strings (instead of just the E), a shoulder rest, and a tuner. I plan to return this. Perhaps this is a much better violin than I realize, but it is hard to get past so many flaws in the finish.

We bought this Violin for the daughter of a friend who asked us for help paying off a student violin. I saved $150- by buying this Real & Nice violin for her instead. It is a beautiful violin thouh not perfect. Unlike some complaints, the mother-of-pearl inlays are centered and make it look very expensive. The bow was very nice as well and octagonal handled. We did take it to a luthier to have the bridge set, peg/holes worked and tuned. That did cost $40- but worth it!The sound is great and projects well.I feel like we got a great deal on this Maestro Violin, I recommend any of the Guarantee Maestro series if this is the entry level offering.

This is my second ever violin and my first real violin. So ive had this violin a few months now. Its nice and broken in. So here's my review:The case is first class. Couldn't ask for better. Its kind of a sky blue. The velvet on the bow holder was coming off when it arived but thats my only complaint. The way it looks:It looks beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. His name is Simon. Really rich dark coloring. The chin rest is superb quality.the pegs and tailpeice are ok. They have this gem looking thing on them that looked really nice in the picture. However its not a sticker. But has a very fake appearance. And its not centered and if it was done better could have been nicer. I think I might replace the pegs and t ailpiece one day.the body of the violin has an interesting varnish. It's not a gloss varnish. So no sweaty fingers. Just ate pizza? Dont touch. But rosin and dust wipe off easily. The way it sounds: sounds great. My teacher says it plays very loud. (Hence his name Simon means to hear and be heard). teacher approved. Tunes easy enough. No complaints. The fine tuner broke the first time it was used though. Just. Broke. The bow is good. The hair has a few kinks in it that bother my ocd. But it doesn't affect the way it plays.Over all I love my new violin. I love playing.
