I used this to hang my moose head. It was easy to install and once I found the right angle for the head it has been hanging with no fear of it falling. It is very sturdy and looks very nice in the wall.

I probably could have gotten away with the small hook for my cow skull but I love the sturdiness of the large hook. I feel certain my skull won’t be coming off the wall without a lot of help and that’s the kind of security I was looking for! Very strong, durable product. Very easy to install.

Listen I got this at a great price with prime free shipping. I couldn’t beat the deal anywhere. I had to get the bronze color and you know what it looks great! The finish is nice and durable, great color and great texture. I thought it would not looks as nice as black but to be honest I love it.It has three main parts; a base plate, a bracket and post. The plate screws into the wall through the studs, screws included. The bracket has two pegs that slide down into two tubes on the base plate. This allows the bracket to swivel one side or the other. It comes with two posts that you can use. If you can tell in my images, I needed the longer post for my massive Rocky Mountain elk. Not to toot my own horn, but toot toot. The post has two bolts and nuts to attach to the bracket. A series of holes allows for 12 different angles of the post.My struggle was that you really have to mount the base plate to the wall first. This means that while you can assemble the entire piece and then put your mount on it, it can be very tricky if you have a massive elk. If the post was too horizontal, the elk was facing too far forward almost slide off the post. If the post was too angled back, i didnt have enough distance from the wall to get the skull on the post. (The antlers hit the wall.). We ended up have the post and bracket together and into the skull and slid the whole assembly onto the plate at once.While that was a tad tricky, it looks great. Couldnt be more pleased with the quality. If an earthquake hits it might shake it off the post, but as long as no one grabs the skull or antlers, its plenty sturdy for this job.

My husband got a huge elk this year and had it done in a European style. This hook worked great and we got it put up in the den. Looks great and is heavy-duty enough to hold the skull and horns. I would recommend this product.

I have some of these products, that I use on my deer mounts. They work great. So I decided to get a large one for the elk, I just got. It will be sturdy and will look great on my wall.

I used it to hang my European elk mount and it works great. Sticks out from the wall a little farther than I wanted, but it's probably meant for bigger horns than what I have.

I got this mount for my husbands ram head. It’s exactly what he wanted to display the skull.This mount is sturdy and comes with everything needed. There are also two size options to attach the skull. The whole thing is adjustable so you can customize the direction the skull is looking (up and down)I will definitely purchase this again
