Despite the thinness of the socks, these socks are super warm! The socks are very warm and very comfortable. The socks do not rub or cause irritation when wearing them. They also stay comfortable when wet.The go on and off with ease and the band around the top of the socks keep the socks in place while wearing and participating in outdoor activities.Very pleased!

These Ski Socks 2-Pack Wool, Over The Calf Non-Slip Cuff for Children are very comfortable especially since my kids don’t feel the seams in the toes which is so important. They feel cushioning and fluffy. I don’t think they are thicker in the shin area it’s just a different pattern. These were long enough and stayed up when wearing with snow boots and rental ski boots and kept their feet warm enough. I’m not sure these are actually wool as the title of the product states and further down it says the composition is 80% Cotton,18% Spandex , 2% Nylon which is also shown in the product pictures. Either way their feet were good to go for a duration of about 4 to 5 hours of skiing. Also just playing in the snow with it caked around the ski pant and boot they stayed warm and dry. I would say the sizing of these socks is accurate. Big kid size 3 and 5.5. These can even fit an adult foot if you don't mind the look. They are well made and we didn’t have any strings or thinning areas but I cannot speak to the overall durability as we don’t live up North but my daughter will continue wearing these for skating lessons. Nice set of socks.

Good cushion and comfortable. Knee high length. Warm and cozy boot socks. Don't pill in laundry.

These ski socks fit my husband well - he typically wears a shoe size 10.5 US. He has larger calves and they stay up but aren't overly restrictive. They come up high enough to wear with ski boots and make a great hiking sock. They're warm but breathable. You get two pairs, so these are also a good value!

My daughter wore the socks for a snow play, and they kept her feet warm and cozy. She wears shoe size 1.5, and they fit her well. They stretch nicely and should last her for a few years. However, they did shrink a bit after washing.
